Game Pacing

    Hi all ^_^ I honestly wish I knew all that is currently planned to be addressed/added atm if theres more to it listed on the main page (and if there is oh please send me a link!) but I wanted to put my opinion out there to hopefully improve the game. :)

    I think we need to separate the tiers into more sectors. Why? Well while it's true the earlier tiers felt a little slow once you get to Sector X its simply becomes waaaay too easy to skip tiers and collect the best weapons in a matter of an hour or two.

    One thing I would like to propose is to connect all the tiers. Going from Copper --> Tier 1 is an excellent idea... but could we make it like this perhaps? Copper ---> Tier 1 ---> Iron ---> Tier 2 ect ect...

    Obviously not all the tiers have a metal counterpart but that is just as easy to deal with for example... Tier 4 ---> Tier 5 ---> Tier 6 ect ect.

    Another thing I would like to address is while I think having alternative armors is a great idea (Makeshift Armor) and would love to see more. They should be placed in a more appropriate Tier. For example Makeshift Armor in it's current form shouldn't be made possible until you have unlocked Tier 3. It is a weaker set than Tier 4 but it is Stronger than Tier 3. With that note it should be nerfed a little bit as well to be more in line.

    Anyways just my opinions but what does everyone else believe with the game's pacing & if they disagree with my proposed idea what is yours? ^_^

    you cant make makeshift armor unless you find Matter block which isnt easy to find so if you manage to find some you get rewarded for it.

    Also the tiers are tied to a certain ore right now as it is. You can only find certain ores in certain tiers like Aegis salt and rubium etc.

    Remember, most of the game are undone, which means that these features you've pointed out will most likely be fixed in the future. They'll definitely add a storyline for each tier, for starters, as well as tweaking armors to fix balance issues, which might just fix the makeshift armor issue. I think the devs will almost certainly remove sector X and give each tier a sector; this was indicated by the fact that unlocking sector x microchip said "temporary" on it. I also suspect that they will have multiple ores for each level, since tier 1-4 involved crafting metallic armors, then upgrading them with a specific ore unlocked on that tier; this will most likely be the direction the devs go for the later tiers.

    I surely hope so. :) Cause as it is Dark Matter is fairly easy to find and by simply going to a high level Asteroid Field in Sector X you can easily skip most of the endgame tiers. :rofl:

    They'll fix that eventually; right now, sector X is just a means of showing us the end-game contents without us having to wait until they've finished them.
