Closed Game Freezes and Crashes at Echrius Boss

    Can I get some sort of feedback here? I keep trying to fight the Echrius boss, and I'll be laggy but okay throughout the rest of the mining facility, but the game just up and freezes and crashes whenever I get to the boss. I've tried it both single player and multiplayer. The only other thing running when I play is Steam, and that's because I can't close it since Starbound is hooked to Steam. Is there anything I can do, or am I just out of luck?

    My computer specs are:

    Windows 7 OS
    2GB RAM
    AMD C-50 Processor
    50gb of free hard drive space at time of running the game
    Compaq Presario CQ57
