Bug/Issue game freezes after hitting "take all" twice

when i collected loot from a chest and accidentally clicked the button again right after all the items were already in my inventory, the game froze. this happened yesterday in the exact same way.
after launching the game after, both times i got put on my ship instead of wherever i was.
whats weird is that the log has nothing on why it froze at all, and the log from yesterday just abruptly ends

only mods are only a few of mine that dont affect much(sprite changes plus one that currently only has items you cant get in any way except /spawnitem), and a mod from the steam workshop for more race slots (the filename is nyaatech_yacc_ver0.1.pak)
system is windows 7 x64
