   I've seen other posts about Marlon crashing at other points in the game, but mine happens at the Egg Festival, first year. Has happened twice so far, on separate saves.

   Mizzion Phantasmal Quasar

   The bug happens anytime someone has to speak to Marlon. His entire file is broken. You can fix it by following the info in the following post:
