Game crashes at workbench

    When I go to use the work bench it says "Exception caught in client main loop (ItemException) no such item "sktestshiphatch"" I have dead squirl's firefly ship mod.

    The starbound.log file may appear as only "starbound" in your storage folder when known file extensions are hidden by your OS.

    According to your log there is a problem with vehiclecontrollers. However since you use a lot of mods it is hard to determine the source of this problem but it is deffo related to one of the mods.
    Make a backup of your storage folder, create a fresh universe for testing, disable all mods and enable one after another. When the issue starts happening you found the faulty mod and best is to report it to the mod author then.
