Galactini's Nonsensical Traveling Amusement Park (GNTAP) is an orgnization dedicated to the fun and happiness of it's customers, wether they are men, women, adults, kids, teens, tweens, or hobos!

We don't care if some of our employees get mortally injured on the job! All we care about is making you happy.

So come on down the the Sol System, where we will be this weekend, and have some fun at Galactini's Nonsensical Traveling Amusement Park!

A generic advert for GNTAP

On another related note, GNTAP (I'm not going to spell out Galactini's Nonsensical Traveling Amusement Park again for the rest of this post) is an amusement park, similar to Universal. It would have shows, games, rides, etc.

Things could be won at the games, or as rewards for participating in the shows. Just stupid stuff like plush toys and lazer gunz. For the kids, you know?

Seriously, toys and play swords could be won here, which you could use to fight off some aliens (real murderous ones) while the audience thinks that it's just an act.

How to find:
When you enter a system, there will be a chance (1/50) that GNTAP would appear on the system map, and you would get an e-mail from them welcoming you the the Park.
(Idea of a random spawn courtesy of Lobo. His post made it so tht if you set a specific destination as the co-ords, GNTAP might spawn instead. I don't really like this way of GNTAP being found, so I edited it to finding it randomly in a system.)

Monsters, etc:
There are going to be hotels in the Park, it being similar to Universal. You can book a room, or sleep in a tent on the grounds. In any event, if you stay up, you will find monsters that have rare drops.
Mosters might include:
Shadow Clowns: They throw exploding pies at you. Drops: Clown hat, exploding pies (5), Clown suit
Dead Space Bonk Zombies: Zombies as described in a game below. Drops: Maybe one of the rarer prizes for Dead Space Bonk?
What else? You tell me!

Games/Prizes:
Claw Grabber. Prizes: Plushies, energy candies, tidbits
Ball Throw. Prizes: Generic Carnival Prizes
Duck Sniping. Prizes: Ducks, RC flying Ducks
Quarter Pushing things? Prizes: Money (I saw a machete, a real legit machete in one of those things. kids were playing for it :O)
Dead Space Bonk: A whack-a-mole game, but instead you're attacking zombies in space. Prizes: Plastic Mallet, zombie doll, Plasma Cutter, Ishimura Replica

Things to do/buy + Purpose:
Face Paint. Purpose: ???
Cotton Candy. Purpose: When consumed via face hole, you become fast and get a buff called Sugar Rush that speeds up attack and running, but lowers accuracy.
Blow Up Hammers/Swords. Purpose: To get in fights with kids aout whether Skyrim or Mass Effect 3 is cooler, and get away with it.
Pet Clown? Purpose: None has been devised at this time.

Hotels+cost+food+rating+specials:
Crummy Campground: Cost: 0 pix. a night. Food: your own. Rating: 1 Star. Special: Monsters attack you.
Basic Bed and Breakfast: Cost: 50 pix. a night. Food: cereal, scrambled eggs, bacon. Rating: 2 Stars. Special: any monsters in the vicinity suffer the buff "Homey" that makes them (1/10) leave the area, and decrease their attack damage.
Better Bedding: Cost: 75 pix a night . Food: Waffles, sunny-side up eggs, sausages. Rating: 3 Stars. Special: Weak defense around the perimeter.
Awesome Accomodations: cost: 100 pix. a night. Food: Pancakes, loaded scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages. Rating: 4 Stars. Special: Medium Defense, You can help defend for some money.
Space Pillows: Cost: 150 pix. a night. Food: Buffet of previous stuff, omletes, fruits. Rating: 5 Stars. Special: Heavy Defense, and You can help defend for some money.


Shops+what to buy+any buffs or regen capabilities: (I am an idiot for not adding these before)
Space Pizza: Pizza, Soda, Nachos. All heal you for 25 points, and the food gives you the buff "Greasy," that makes you slow, because Carnival food makes you feel really heavy.
Galactian Ice: "Italian" Ice, Ice Cream. Both heal you for 15 points, and they give you the buff "Brain Freeze," that makes you 25% resistant to ice damage.
Bake Tent: Cookies, Muffins, (Angry ones?) Brownies, Cakes, Donuts: All heal you for 15 points, and give you the buff "Sugar Rush" that makes your attack speed/running 25% faster, but decreases accuracy.

Deep-frying:
You can have any food deep-fried, whether it's a raw chicken, or a Skittle, you can deep fry it.
Uses for Deep-frying foods: Deep-fried food regenerates health, makes you fast, gives Buff Sugar Rush (previously described)
In addition to food, you can also deep fry non-key items, armour, and weapons. There is no real purpose to this. We here at GNTAP just want to waste time. Because we're bored.

If the dev team as a Karma Meter, the story of the show can be changed due to your choices. Ex: Leave behind your ally in a lava room for the treasure, or save him and the treasure is burned. Like that. Or even without a Karma Meter.

On another note: I want to thank all of you for giving me some really badass ideas. The monsters, karmaic choices for shows,etc. It's all so amazing I had to add all of it. Thank you for showing support, even though this is a small crowd of fans.

i like the idea!

it could be a place full of games, monsters with rare drops, gambling and stuff! \o/
and maybe it could be an easter egg, like a secret place. when you enter any coordinate, there's a random chance that this place pops up instead of the coordinate's planet

heh, space carnies, i think that is what makes this a great idea, ring masters, clowns, that shady guy who runs the ring toss you SWEAR is rigged, and possibly a freak show... scratch that. i dont really want to know what counts as a freak in space lol.

i also have to think the items form here would be cool. cotton candy, face paint, blow up hammers, funnel cake, deep fried everything. Maybe you could even get a pet clown, why you would want one is beyond me but some people like clowns.

strangely, after my post i felt the need to deep fry his avatar... deep fried doughnuts... yumm.

but that is neither hear nor there, on topic: i hope we see lots of stuff added to the main post of this thread, there is a lot of stuff that could be done with this.

About adding stuff: I will update it later, but I'm taking a break from Skyrim to write this. Damn Falmers.

 

You should be able to deep-fry any piece of equipment. It would get a reskin, as well as the buff "Tasty!"

Or possibly "Greasy"

Step right up, folks! Yes, here at Galactini's Amusement Park, we have the ability to deep fry your weapons! Besides making your weapon fragile as a fetus, it also dulls the damage so much that it couldn't even hurt that fetus. You, you in the blue shirt and vest! Give us your sword. No? Well, I don't uinderstand why. *pushes security button* This is a new addition to Galactini's Park, and we hope that all of you will find a chance to use it!

I'd say that the buff could have a chance to make enemies slip and faceplant.

 

Galactini's Nonsensical Traveling Amusement Park's employees know nothing about this...Chrono Trigger. We have taken the liberty of calling a mental hospital, as it seems that you suffer from hallucinations, possibly caused by paranoia. You should expect them in a few hours.

This sounds really fun Donut, I would love to something like this in the game, having rides and using your charismatic skills in a drop down selection bar for the shows. It will be awesome to see what sort of things could be added to the show. If I might add, I would like to see, Graveyard Bonk, or space Bonk, you have a mallet and you hit aliens or zombies, like whack a mole

I will call it Space Graveyard Bonk, or Dead Space Bonk. Maybe not a bloody plastic mallet, but a plastic mallet.
If it's Dead Space Bonk you might be able to get a Plasma Cutter, or a replica of the Ishimura.
