Future Server for the Apex Race - Yetis on a Frozen Planet

[Original Thread was locked upon my request because people got the wrong idea where I was heading. Sorry!]

Info: The Yetis are Apex people who live in snowy, frozen, cold regions. Pretty much Eskimos, but for the Apex race, they're defined as Yetis.

-I'll be hosting a server for 15+ Players, we'll be living as a Yeti nation. People may be allowed to live among the Yetis as their own in a frozen climate! No Hamachi, will be port-fowarded. I'm pretty experienced with this stuff

*The goal here is that we'll be living among each other as a Yeti Tribe on a frozen planet and we'll progress through Starbound when Beta is released!

You wouldn't really need to have it be a dedicated server for this purpose, you could easily join a larger server and live out your roleplaying there, staying together as a tribe/clan, explore and expand together. I already where I'll be playing Starbound online, but I do like the idea of roleplaying as a Yeti Nation

 

I've done past ideas in Terraria & Minecraft before, so I guess I can be creative when it comes to this!

Hosting a server for me is really not a problem at all anyways, it's easy to do, and It doesn't HAVE to be 24/7. But yeah that's a sweet idea, maybe we can play on a bigger/better server like you stated. I don't know how Starbound multiplayer exactly works yet so I'm giving an idea out there for the future when the beta comes out.

 

Not sure how interested id be in being a yeti, but playing on a server with you guys would be wild and fun!

 

I'd be down for this. Maybe it would give me a reason to make an Apex character. I'll check back again once the game is released and we know more.

Please make a detailed suggestion for this I really would vote for yetis in general to be implemented, and I would be interested in joining the server sounds fun!

Maybe throw space big foot in there somewhere, GTA myth style

Yetis are pretty much a sub-race. They are Apex and are made through the Apex character creator. No need for suggestions when it already exists.

Is it going to be "against the rules" to bring a yeti hunter onto the server? If not, sign me up.

 

Probably, because we're not really looking to get our base griefed and continuously killed by "hunters" lol.

 

I wouldn't grief your base, and I'd only kill the stragglers.

 

This actually sounds pretty interesting, and it would give me an excuse to play as an Apex! I think that you can count me in.
