Modded FurryBound Revival - A furry friendly Starbound server!

    Would you be opposed to the removal of the stuffed dolls within the pony pack, but leaving the rest? (I have no idea why that author made those things craftable at the 3dprinter, crafting table, and spinning wheel (and the avali nanolathe by extension).

    I wouldn't be opposed at getting rid of a couple of mods. Less things loaded, less things the server has to deal with.

    As for the Pony mod thing, I do agree; there are alot of items repeated through a couple of crafting stations and it's rather cumbersome and clutters alot. With permission from the author and/or the modpack owner, I could modify the files specifically for the server to have things much more organized and not have the same items repeated throughout. (Unless you all have that covered, which is great!)

    This only happened once a player logged on, so clients not having the mod may have something to do with it. I'll see if I have time to test this tonight.


    Ok, I guess were keeping TPM then. As far as removing sections of the mod is concerned, I'm not entirely sure we're allowed to do that. One of the stipulations of our agreement with the mod's maintainer is "don't break the thing". Whether or not cutting swaths of the mod off counts as breaking it, I don't know.

    Possibly? I'm not really sure what could have happened, but it certainly doesn't sound good. It might be worth reinstalling the modpack.

    I use the Sergal mod rarely. It adds some spice to the game for sure, but the villages are... Poorly implemented to say the least.

    Edit: Also, the Loppunny Improvements could be added? You added the Lucario Improvements, after all...

    Thoughts for some size reduction:
    cleanup of the pony mod to restrict the items to being made at only one specific station
    Cleanup of the armor stand mod to only allow crafting of the items within at the included crafting station (seriously, why have a crafting station in the mod if you can print the dummies or make therm at the crafting table?)
    Light drones (The light drones do nothing the light packs don't do, cost a huge amount to make, and the healing drones apparently don't work)

    Possible removal of Print and pack (extremely iffy about this one. I myself don't use a thing from it, but others may use a lot. Input would be good).
    Possibly familiars (again, input to see if anyone plays these, as the poor things have so little they can use. As they don't have their own villages, just populate other races, they should be safe if removed. test first)
    Possibly Felin obj plus (does anyone actually use the inspect tool on non-modded items on a consistent basis?)
    Possibly mephator (They have no special ship, no unique armor besides the starter outfits, no unique weapons, no racial furniture, BUT they are the only race with the big floofy tail... input would be nice.)

    Testing of the Wavediver mod to see if not having it will cause players to crash if they see a sprite from the mod someone else is holding, or a song is played from the pack. If all it does is make them unable to hear the song/see the item, can be moved to optional/recommended downloads, and cut the modpack's size in half

    Keep in mind these thoughts do not reflect Geodeeks thoughts, so don't flip out and attack him if a mod you are a die-hard fan of is here, just calmly say you do indeed use and like the mod.

    Note 1: Any mod that adds a race that has villages (or houses) is unable to be safely removed without a universe wipe, due to all planets that had a village of them crashing anyone that lands on em after uninstalling. (Sergal, gyrusen, felins, munari, kazdra, kineptic, orcana)
    Note 2: Any mod that adds quests will, if removed, make players that currently have that quest active unable to login. If the quest is complete, though, they can safely login and it will be removed from the character.

    After playing today. A couple of players and I have experienced instant COD'ing when we enter the outpost. No error message or anything, just the result of what would happened if we went alt-F4. Please look into it.

    Also can we please add the creative mod pack?

    yo so i might not join the server any time soon but i'm glad to see this place isn't dead and all.
    they can indeed be fully optional. no one will crash if they don't have the mod installed, but do keep in mind if it isn't installed on the server there will be a lot of error messages popping up. but yeah people won't crash if they lack wavediver/any custom instrument mod installed and someone plays one of the instruments. speaking from personal experience on a 100% "vanilla" (no modpack needed) server.

    Did they update to the latest pack? I know as of last night several players missed the "last update" message date, and just assume things were broken. If they did update, the only thing that has changed at the outpost since the last pack is the addition of a certain terrifying and freakish NPC that can't speak universal language everyone else knows...

    I wasn't aware the Lopunny had an update. I'll look into it.

    Thanks for all the suggestions. I almost removed Light Drones in the last update, but didn't have time to test if they were actually as broken as I assumed.
    As for the removal of familiars and Mephetor, I don't think either of those would work. Mephetor was installed at request and is used .Familiars is used by a few people as well (myself included).
    Wavediver was also something that I was curious about removing. That one mod makes up nearly half of the entire modpack, and isn't exactly critical. The instruments are certainly nice, but we could probably live without them.
    As for the Sergals, I may look into lobotomizing the mod a bit. I have a hunch that it's interfering with colony creation.

    The outpost was modified in the most recent modpack update. Have you made sure to update?
    As for adding the creative mod, last I heard, it hadn't been updated. However, you are welcome to use Reno's mod.
