WIP Furry skins

Since requested i did some Work into transforming Stardew Village in a furry commune.

If you don't like furry or people with animal parts stop reading right now, this thread is not for you. If you still want to read it don't post your disapproval.

If furries aren't for you or my style don't fit your taste but you want to have some animal ears (or elven ones) take a look into the fantasy portraits created by AriaDraconfly <--- click the name

My goal is to transform every villager into a furry who represent the character of the villager (or at least i try...)

I will do 2 versions, a light and a normal version.

The light version: is not rly "furry" but more people with ears and tails (nekomimi ect.)
The normal version: is the furry version itself (ears, tails, snouts and fur)

Right now i only finished Abigail (was the first in the list)

How to Install:

• Portraits:
  • Backup the orignal portrait file (Stardew Valley/Content/Portraits/name.xnb)
  • Download the custom portrait and put it in the folder ↑↑↑
• Character (sprites):
  • Backup the original file (Stardew Valley/Content/Characters/name.xnb)
  • Download the custim character sprite and put it in the folder ↑↑↑

Attention!!! The filenames for portraits and characters are identical!!! it would be best if you download them separately

Do you have any intent to add some options so the main character can match as well?

 

The Lion Elliot is known Harvey as a otter? sounds good will see 'bout that.

your not the first one who suggest that. After finishing the village i will think about that

 

I can see Clint as a big fluffy bear. and the Wizard as an owl. Maybe Linus as a racoon considering he likes to get into other people's trash cans and pretty much live off the land.

 

So ugly....no, i don't mean your work is ugly, but the portraits themselves...may you work base on this?

 

i ( or anyone else) can edit the anime styled portraits with the consens of the original author. right now i use the normal basis since i do ALL villagers and it would be odd if some characters got animestyle and others not.
But if i finish this and nobody did your request i will work on that too

Haha i made client a OX and Linus a bear (bears too look inside trashcans ). but my plans aren't that fix... maybe i can switch some animals out or make alternatives

I love this! Looking forward to anything else you put out.

Why? The vanilla sprites are fine, not everything has to be anime. Personally I think the vanilla sprites look way better, no offense to the artist but it seems very out of place in the rest of the game's artstyle.

 

This looks great, and I'm definitely going to download it when it's done.
