not sure why, i have the same issue with the server sometimes but i just wait it out. pull up the youtubes and bite some time i guess.

 

Well we got people ruining the server for others now. Some ones using hacks and the server is lagging out now. So as it stands no one can do anything because of all the crashes.

About the modpack... Should I update Arcane and Avali? I seemed to see some dissension in this decision reading through the posts, so I'll ask the community.

 

yah you should update them would be nice but people might be a little upset that avali characters will have to be remade but i would like you to update them

 

Please! I don't know anything about the arcane mod, but the avali mod recently updated with several new materials/decorations/etc, as well as microdungeons! V important update.

I don't think avali characters will need to be remade? I've updated the mod pack + played it on the server AND I've been around during the last update, so I don't think anything needs to be wiped.

I'll wait for general consensus and update tomorrow night if that's what most want. I'm unable to hop in-game right now so please notify players in-game of this on my behalf and to have them voice their opinion here.

The reason they need to be wiped (well, the ship world at least) is because the ship lights have been fixed (they could not be broken and occupy space), so in order for the update to work people need to either make a new character or a new ship.

 

I say update all the things.

Well who wouldn't want to have their space wasted by silly unbreakable lights, I know I wouldn't. Also, nice avatar

 

I for one think that updating would be cool.
Also I wish to suggest two mods that might add more fun and color to the server (in one case literally).
1: The Dye Mod, which allows for the dying of various weapons, clothing, and most of the furniture from the pixel store mod as well as most furniture in general.

2: The Chocobo Mounts Mod: which is self explanatory. The mod was made partly by Dragonith, who I personally consider to be one of the best artists for starbound, and allows people to mess about of chocobos. because reasons.

Hope that suggesting things is ok and everything, because I realize that we don't want the server full of random mods that benefit only one or two people or that clog up the data for server n' stuff.

I think it'd be nice to keep updated frequently so I can stay connected with this furry group. c:
