Friendship is definitely not magic in Expert mode Terraria.
1 player in expert mode : Lol, the eye of cthulhu is pretty easy.
4 players in expert mode: WTF EYE OF CTHULHU HAS MORE HEALTH THAN THE FINAL BOSS! RUN IN SQUARES!

 

Actually for the Eye of Cthulhu you're able to cheese that boss very easily taking down 3/4 of his health right as the battle begins and afterwards you can down him quickly in expert mode, same goes with the Destroyer of Worlds and the Brain of Cthulhu. All that is needed is the best mount in the game to do this as that mount negates all defense dealing around 32 damage very quickly to the enemy every time it bounces on it's head.

 

You mean the slime mount? Yeah, that is a very useful mount for boss slaying, but as an actual mount for riding around the map, the UFO (Cosmic car key) beats it by far.
That, and you can use the UFO to kill the dungeon guardian easily, since it's so fast it can outrun him.

 

I'm talking about early game, you're unable to obtain the UFO early in the game so the slime mount makes due.

 

Yeah, I know, but you called it the "best mount ingame" and the best items ingames are mostly always endgame (and not easy to obtain, like the meowmere.)

 

Someone hasn't heard of the Unicorn Mount.

 

It doesn't shoot laser beams.
I am dissapointed.

Well, true, but you can manually mount one on it if you get the last prism.
... which you can do on the unicorn, but on the unicorn, it doesn't shoot from the horn.

 

You can do it from a mechanical minecart too
