Furry Friendly Starbound Server (Modpack Updated 4/7/2015, Races, Music, Improvements and more!)

Can this be fixed? I don't want to have to uninstall and store the mods and I really think this server looks great.

 

The mods are installed. The server itself has no custom plugins, like the log-in system and the player rank system, so for now it's like a normal modded server. Currently, the owner is working on the server, as the latest update broke a lot of things and the server only recently went back up and stabilized, so just wait a little while longer. The only main difference is the lack of a private chat system and the lack of a non-teleporter bookmark system, which will probably be removed in favor of the vanilla bookmark system anyways.

 

I guess I can wait, but maybe a custom mod instead of a server wrap could be made?

 

I highly doubt it; mods provide modification to items, tech, game physics, graphics, or ships, not commands and server features. As far as I'm aware, the only way to add custom commands is a plugin.

 

Well, modding.
If mods just don't allow commands to be added, MOD COMMAND ADDING, AND ADD COMMANDS!
....or just wait for plugins, you know that works too.

 

Well, that's sort of what the server wrapper does. In addition to adding ranks and protections, it allows you to use non-vanilla commands to have the server return information or initiate something, like a warp to a specified location or making a world's chunks only modifiable by certain player accounts.

 

Somebody get to work on this

 

A few people seem to be giving it some work still. The open-source wrapper called StarryPy has been fairly well updated. However, support for protocol 679 is only available through a pull request at the moment. Other than that, there isn't really anything else that's updated and available.

 

I would love you play on this Server but I would really like to see DragonBound add to the list of mods Its a great mod and my Fav!

 

I Having a problem downloading the modpak idk whats wrong with it.

 

It's a pretty big file. Maybe that's the problem?

 

hey, love the idea of the server and would gladly join given the chance, however i gotta ask is the server under unstable or regular starbound? i've been trying to figure it out, the website not really helpful in that department ya know?

Hi, hoping to join this server, gonna try in a min >^.^< I noticed a site for this server but I think I read it was currently down, is that right?
I kinda wanna join to try and socialize or something, (and get over personal anxiety stuffs).

Yeah, so a few places on spawn are destructable. Me and another guy put signs up everywhere we found that needs protection.

 

due to the mod pack being big what are some mods on there that are NEEDED to join cause i bet you most of those mods are client side ((Maybe ))
