Furry Friendly Starbound Server (Modpack Updated 4/7/2015, Races, Music, Improvements and more!)

This server is going down anyways. My real life situation has yet to improve and this month's payment cannot be reached as no donations have come in.

We have a 14 day grace period, so there is that, but unless we are able to raise the remaining $160 for this month it won't do us any good.

If we cannot meet this we will be staying offline until a replacement server can be found or this payment can be made. We have until September 03 to raise $160, then another $179 by September 20.

 

Hrm.. that isn't good. That is alot of money for this server... who is hosting it?

 

Liquidweb, and it's about normal for a server of this power.

 

But theres no ohter server that has the ponymodpack! :c

Sorry everyone. Any assistance helps but it seems most are deciding to jump ship which is understandable.

I've supported this project personally for the last nine months out of pocket, sans one month total that may have been raised. However this rough spot in my life has come up. If there was a way to bypass it I would love to, and I hope we can survive this.

 

When you cannot even maintain the spawn planet why should i bother? besides trying to ask for the server money with a tin cup every month is not feasable

 

Seems abandoning ship is a common practice amongst players. When the owner needs a high amount of funding to keep things in order they just jump off,

While many others feel the condition of the planet/server

ties into how they should help it.

It's not that he or they can't keep the spawn in order. It's the fact they try but like life we have work and duties to fulfill and don't have that extra time to lend a hand. Say what you must but everyone has to give up once in awhile to fulfill a duty of their own

 

Nobody had even notified me spawn had broken again and it wouldn't be for every month, just one or two if we stayed here. Have the users had to pay every month since now? No, didn't think so. I am terribly sorry this game is still in beta and has bugs out the ass, especially for servers, but I do my best to maintain and upkeep when I'm notified of issues and able to.

In any case, I'm pursuing some alternate avenues.

 

Oh right, I forgot to tell you. Some 12 year old came on and abused that glitch to ruin the spawn and write 'yiff in hell' right above where you beam in. It's only been like that for a few days.

 

What glitch? The placement of objects? Once we finish migrating (We've been graciously donated a server, but it'll take some time and work) we will append the wrapper.

I'M BACK! Took the summer off starbound, but I've decided to come back, only to hear my fav server's on hard times.
Glad to hear the server is not, in fact, dying; but is it up right now? Or is it migrating?

We're up for now, but there may be downtime in the near future when we do a total migration.
