Furry Friendly Starbound Server (Modpack Updated 4/7/2015, Races, Music, Improvements and more!)

So has anyone requested that the Wavediver Luther instrument pack to be added to the modpack? If not, then i humbly request that it be added. If so, Then i apologize.

For those of you wondering whether or not there are any player city hubs. There are in fact quite a large number of player built and managed hubs. I personally am taking steps to construct a small city, high rise apartments and all. I'm looking to have it become primarily a place for those members looking for a safe area to RP with like minded individuals. However, there are merchants to help you in travels outside of the city and out in the cosmos, so it seconds as a nifty pit stop for survival/adventure progression. Once I am finished building, I'll be releasing coordinates to the general public, and will be reserving living quarters for individuals interested in living out of the city for RP purposes. Have faith younglings, civilization will become a reality soon enough.

 

There have been maybe five or six overall, including the spawn planets that apparently keep getting wiped clean.

 

Yeah, and unfortunately due to game updates some of them (like the one Nezuli/peacefultyranny and a few others were working on) were likely wiped as well. (I haven't checked since...due to harddrive crash, I no longer have the coords, but im like 99% sure the cities we were working on were wiped.)

That being said, I've been working slowly on building some more cities, and miiight publicly post the coords when I'm finished.

 

im willing to vouch for them! theyre really good with handling new players and often get involved to help folks out when they're struggling with stuff, whether we're both doing something or not. theyre a super nice and lovely person otherwise and would honestly be a really, really good mod!
i'm the person who built the big apartment complex planet way back when, and they were the other main person to help me build and design that if it means anything!

i'm almost tempted to volunteer too but i might not have enough energy for that, haha

 

Of course! I'll have to see how to go about that, as the active players lately have seemed to change, aha. I don't know if Cobalt remembers me all that much or if others who I was marginally acquainted with are active anymore.

it would be cool if the server had better ships, its not hard to include some of the most popular ship mods like these one http://community.playstarbound.com/index.php?resources/dreadnought-ship-for-all-races.1527/

But also for the custom races idk its just me or at least have them in the modpack so people who actualy want them can do an easy ship change.

since the other player will have the ship assets, because if you didnt know if somebody has a custom ship and the other player dont have the assets well they will just see an invisible ship when they come on your ship. anyways i hope you read this and understand what im asking for thank you.

 

I recommend people to use the FCS mod. Also that ship mod is in this server.

However, I would have to manually pick ONE ship that ALL races used (overwriting a lot of cool default ones for special races). It would be silly, because not everyone would like that ship.

However, if everyone uses FCS then that problem doesn't exist at all.

 

These mods deserve to be on the server (and may be worth replacing some current mods with):

• StarMount - 70 ground and 20 flying mounts you can create with their own unique set of animations, sounds, skills and techs. (From the maker of the Dreadnaught ship)
• Energy/Light Bridges - Introduces energy bridges into the game. Easy to use and looks good.
• No Battle Music - Stops battle music from playing every time a monster chases you. Improves immersion.
• Gun Assembly - Lets you break most guns into parts and then combine the parts into custom guns that aren't overpowered! Awesome mod for customization lovers.

I use No Battle Music with no conflicts. StarMount does the job of Chocobo/Hoverbikes but better. Gun Assembly may require the removal of another mod.

its been a long time since i've been here, i posted some of my art pieces here before, wanted to post this one i just finished, its a 300 x 300 block, and had to zoom out to o.6 just to see it all, i hope you like it.

I noticed that Sergals weren't in the mod list. Is that a future thing or..?

Also, how much would New Origins affect the game for peoples?

 

nope i haven't been on the server since my planet got wiped, i made it on single player

 

I joined twice and got disconnected the second time and now it keeps timing out. Is the server off?
