Those are all good mods ^^ I would personally love to see this server utilize Better Doors I think it'd fit perfectly.

 

Which was made by Ryuujin, the creator of the mod. A more refined version for Spore is the Avali Guard captain for Galactic Adventures.

Though I'm not sure how much, if at all, the Pony Mod Pack alters or adds to the Ponex race.

I think it's still Apex, like a clan or a cult or something. Examples of use: 'She's an Apex,' 'The Apex did this,' and 'that looks of Apex design.'

 

Did you mean Pony Mod Pack? or Ponybound? I'm not seeing Ponex in the pack at all nor any other mods that were apart of the Pony Mod Pack.

May be worth it to look over all the mods in The Pony Mod pack to check them over to see witch ones are problematic rather than removing the whole modpack. A mod pack is a collection of mods after all.

Not to say there's not other mods in the Pony Mod Pack that in my personal opinion I dislike (if I'm not playing a pony I'd rather not see pony things in crafting) just it's better to look into things a bit more and see what does what and remove only the problematic bits.

ponybound and ponex were taken up by the same guy, who put them together in the same pack.

Ponybound and Twilicane are being updated by C0bra5 (the maker of the pony mod pack) and Ponex is still being handled by Chandrak the maker of Ponex, at least at the current time of my posting of this.

C0bra5 has made minor updates to Ponex for the mod pack (ie: "fixed the ponex spawner") but as far as I can tell no big changes to the mod has been made but it may be worth a look over before removing it along with the problem mod(s).

 

the mod pack page is down. it keeps saying connection failed even though i can make this comment here...

 

There were no problems with it, it was just never used and there were 5 different race slots taken for the exact same thing pretty much.

My apologies. I had recently turned on the servers firewall to help with security and forgot to open port 80 like a tard. It's fixed now~ I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

 

Pretty much gonna repeat what Snowpup just said. For a relatively unused mod, pack or no pack, it takes up way to much space, at around 5megs last I checked.

Compare it to the Avali mod, which is only 2-3 megs. Removing it takes a load off, and rightfully so with lack of use.

Now again, if anyone, even one person asked me to bring back a pony race I would do so right away. However that Pony modpack was a tiny bit overkill I think.

thank snow, mod downloaded correctly and perfectly! just an advice, while in game you could try to change the motd to say if the games has a new mod pack or no. keep doing a good job!

 

That's a good idea Draco, I think we could use that.Yet again though, people usually don't read the MOTD because it's that long, this could be a reason for people to do that.

i think the problem with the motd being to long is it being too repetitive in its message. but what can be done to make it smaller? because removing features would not be an option, and making it more intrusive wouldnt be nice sooo....

Sadly yes. Unless they were truly used. If you would like it back I can reinstate it but I'm removing all but one of the included races.

I've no problems having that modpack in, it was just the abundance of cookie-cutter races it provided that spammed up the character create screen I didn't like.

Would you like it back? If so which pony from it would you guys like to see kept?
