Furry Friendly Starbound Server (Modpack Updated 4/7/2015, Races, Music, Improvements and more!)

Hey, figured I might as well pop in and say that I've been playing on this server for a little bit. I don't rly talk much, but it's nice knowing that there are other players around

A fox is way too overused. A skunk can be branded much better anyways.

And before all you think I'm modelling it after my sona's species... I'm not. I'm not a skunk, I'm an arctic wolf so~ Yeah.

 

It's still a little specific.

Why just one mascot? Why not, well, more than one? like maybe 4 or 5...

That way it wouldn't be as specific, and could make people feel a bit more welcome with the diversity.
Then again, what do I know, I'm more-or-less the public relations guy.

 

When do you ever see something with more than one mascot? That's just silly no offense. We're already diverse, having one species as an overall mascot is not bad.

so skunk-avali hybrid?

 

I wonder how that would look.

 

I can't tread on an original species like that.

Mods removed:
Ponex (5 ponies for one race with no differences is a bit much. Will re-add a pony race in the future if anyone were to request.)

Please re-download the modpack from http://www.furrybound.com/FurryboundMods.rar
Once done delete everything from your mods folder and replace with the files inside the RAR.

 

For the Mascot.. i officially promote the Albion Skunk.. well, skunk. IF we're going for a skunk.

It's purfect (origiinal pun do not steal) The Skunk is holding a space gun, on a space ship in space

 

FUN FACT: The Avali in Starbound were born from the iubati in Spore

Unless there's someone else who's artistic and wants a try at drawing a mascot, I might give it a go...

I can understand not wanting to steal, but it's not copyright infringement as long as we don't start charging for admission to the server.
Its your server ergo your prerogative to put whatever you want on the cover, just keep the Skunk design in mind

 

I wanted to suggest few mods (these are just visual client-sided ones, aren't necessary to have to play on server, also pretty small, yet they might need to be manually updated)
- Drumsticks + Tail Feathers - merged with Tail Feathers I believe; it does the same but also changes avians' legs and arms a bit, also adds some changes to Peglaci race
- Starface - addes itty bitty changes to all vanilla races but avians; florans look more murderous, and apexes (apexi???) look more like actual apes
- Enlarge Your Beak - changes beaks of avians; there's an actual raven beak in here

Also: huuuge thanks for one particular mod added in this update, I was about to ask if it's going to be added soon :>c
