That sounds to me like his grappling hook file is corrupted somehow (default non-modded item; he'll have to do a steam integrity verify).

It should automatically do that as is. If not I'm sad to say that's beyond my ability in coding to implement.. :/

He fixed it. Apparently he didn't install OKEA mod, and read the error log wrong. It's all okay!

I'll be replacing Zmisc with that. It looks so much more polished and useful. Hopefully if I remove Zmisc first and then add that it won't cause any problems. If worst comes to worst a much needed universe wipe can happen (and needs to; it's what causing the lag on startup, 20GB folder). Zmisc has become quite useless anyhow, and we have a lot of continuous universe load fails which can cause the startup to be delayed by up to 30 minutes. It's time for a wipe.

To re-iterate THE UNIVERSE IS BEING WIPED. Your characters and ships will be untouched but planets will be reset.

Hey, I finally got around to being able to back-read some of the messages on the thread.
You're very right; my real life situation (80 hour work weeks... No joke) made doing this incredibly hard. I tried passing it off but nobody had backend server experience.

Everything you've stated is true; I want to finish the website though I don't really have the time/knowledge to, nor have I had time to properly monitor players and screen for moderators. I would love for a website to be completed but as I said I simply don't have the time to learn to create a decent one and it is slowly killing us. There's no more word of mouth spread anymore, updates are few and far between, I need to finish on backend backup systems for worlds and a way to implement players to be able to backup their own worlds... But I can't. I'd love to be able to drop $140 for a Xenforo license but next month's server payment is already going to be a tough one to hit due to IRL fiasco's. It's quite circular too because our playerbase dropped during my absence by quite a large amount, so that means donations are null as well. As it stands now it has simply become a money-sink to me... But I won't give up. I've already put in so much effort and for those few that do stick around it's worth it for me to keep trying at the very least.

Anyways, I'm sorry for ranting, I just wanted to let you know your words were heard. I hope you have fun in whatever server you chose my friend. ^^

Sup guys, this server got my attention (actually this is the first one I ever really look at, dem custom race mods got my attention) and I have a few questions if you don't mind

I couldn't really decide after reading the OP, so I'm gonna ask:
- Is this server purely RP,
- If not RP what else do you guys do,
- If RP, can I ask what sort of nature do you guys RP ("furryfriendly" in thread title kind of worries me in that regard, please no offense intended),
- do I need to register somewhere to join the server,
- do I have to create an entirely new character meaning starting from square one
- what are the possibilities on the server (kind of relating to the first question)
- what mods are allowed/not allowed
- if I have my own mods will they get me in trouble or will there be any issues?

I hope I'm not bothering with these questions, never went on pub servers before (only hosting to play with a friend of my own), so if somebody could shed some light on my questions that would be swell. Thanks in advance!

The picture on the bottom of the OP isn't working btw and can I suggest making the modlist clickable, so each listed mod forwards you to it's mod page? I know all of them are in the package, and also can be searched, just for a little bit of convenience.

 

1:No, although some of us RP.
2:We all just hang out and have fun, or help each other.
3:Whoever RP's does it however they want.
4:No, just jump right in!
5:That's your decision.
6:Even I don't know our possibilities! :O
6:The server is made to be used with the modpack made for it, but as long as it wouldn't interfere with others or crash the server, like vanity mods or very destructive mods, you'd be fine.
7:You won't get in trouble, as long as it doesn't interfere with others.

Hope this helped. (P.S Don't use a vanity mod that's not in the server's modpack, people won't be able to see you, same with Techs.Weapons are fine though.)

As for the RP nature specific question, people RP however they want, yes, although I would rather avoid some pretty detailed/nasty stuff, that's all and the reason why I asked.

And just like that, Spawn is covered in Lava and crashes my game when i beam down.
