Furry Friendly Starbound Server (Modpack Updated 4/7/2015, Races, Music, Improvements and more!)

Pretty much going to repeat what Yoshio just said.

In order to play on the server, you need to download and correctly install the modpack, the URL can be found in the first post of this thread. As another admin, I assure as well as promise you that the regulars of the server are some of the nicer people I've ever met on the internet.

Please assume that a technical problem is keeping you from playing instead of a social one. Whomever was calling you that name was more than likely a troll, even now we get maybe one or two a week.

 

Hello, i was trying to join the server to play starbound on multiplayer, and every time i tried i was told wrong password, does the server require a password to join now?

 

well it just might seem ill be walking back out of the ruins ive been hiding in and join back onto furry bound!
so ill be setting my files up and such later....

Tried joining but I keep crashing when beaming to a planet. It seems that some of my mods are more up to date than the versions you are using. However, if I use your files my characters do not show up. I guess I'll just wait till you update your *cough*Avali*cough* files.

 

That's because the items in your character's inventory contain invalid items, like a different item code for, say, the avali starter item. You need to remove whatever invalid item it is before launching with the pack.

 

I either do something wrong or there's something shonky about some mods.
I wanted to craft one of these fancy elevators for my base. Used all of my map/tech upgrades, they DID add some new recipes, but I don't see any of them in my crafting stations?
Bummer. I'd really use them.

EDIT: lol I found out the mod Graviton Elevators is not added to modpack, but the mod is still on the list of mods used on server. I might be late to party but could somebody elaborate on that? Is it possible to either add the mod to modpack, or remove it from the list? Does it work on server anyway?

 

Ah apologies; I remember attempting to add it in at one point but it was conflicting with something. I'll try again in the future but as of now I'll be removing it from the list.

 

Parties work like in vanilla, whereas they are used to access other players' ships, health stats, energy stats, status effects(I believe, haven't paid any attention), access other planets, socialize easily, and essentially just cooperate with other players. It works like you'd expect of any other game, being that you just invite a user to the party or get invited, accept or send, and you have 2 basic commands as a party leader, and 1 as an invitee, which is 'leave', 'make leader', and 'remove from party'.

 

Not a furry, but the server I use with my Avali is pretty much a ghost town, if I decide to switch over would I be welcome?

 

Can you put up with perverted furry jokes, bronies farting rainbows, a menagerie crashing through the side of your house for an impromptu saxophone jam session and Fafeman occasionally railgunning you to death from off screen?

Second, if you are going to join using a pre-existing Avali character and succeed please share because I am having troubles joining with my Avali.

EDIT: I figured out my problem. I am just retarded. I had the modpack installed incorrectly.

 

It's nice indeed but I don't have any trouble to get into party (finding anybody for it or being in mood for that is other thing) so i don't really know what was that reply for considering that post doesn't make sense at all??? lmfao oi

ANOTHER TROUBLE but not me this time. My friend wanted to join, installed modpack and crashed when he beamed down to spawn. I gave him my mods, he still can't teleport to spawn planet. I apparently can teleport down to spawn planet without any crashes. We played a bit together, he had no crashes until he tried to go to our base or tried to join the spawn. He told me the crash log mentions something about asset/tools/grapplinghook. Any idea what's happening?

 

i really like the server but there was a couple mods i would like to see added, is there a process to put mods up for consideration for the server?

 

And on that note is there any way to put a system in place to automatically kick people who haven't done anything for five minutes or so? it'd fix the problem of people being disconnected and not being able to log back in, because the server doesn't know theyre gone.

I think you've forgotten that this is a modded server and haven't installed the modpack yet, the admins on this server would never kick someone without reason.

Also guys, I'm back from ma holidays!

 

The server has never required a password, try making sure that there are no spaces or text in the password column then try again.

 

Just drop your suggestions on the server and if Snow has the time, he'll try his best to look at them.
