We need someone who's around enough to mod the server a bit. All we really need is someone to get rid of obvious griefers, honestly. :/

 

1. there no real creative mode in starbound he using a item call the all seeing eye which makes him invisible
2.normal players like you and I can't ban players
3.there a reason why people recommend not building on spawn and to find planets in other sectors and not to accept random invites

Yes, if the turret catches the NPC, the turret shoots said NPC. Nothing a button and a wire can't fix, though, since NPCs can't push buttons.


On the Xenmas topic, I'm with Yoshi, there is no real 'creative' mode. Plus, I thought the spawn was protected?


I would volunteer for being a mod, but my interests have sorta been fluxuating. I'm swinging back into starbound, though, at least until Tuesday when the almighty WoW calls me for slave-duty for a special half-effort week. Don't ask, it's 20 AM EST at time of post.

I feel your pain, man: Server Withdrawal, while not as severe as interweb withdrawal, can take a noticeable toll on one's mental abilities until the craving is sated.

EDIT: By this point, it's prolly best to wait until the server resets. If it ain't up by ~3:15 AM EST, send a PM to snowpup.

hey when i try to join now its all like "BLARGH" and crashes and stuff. i used opengl so i dont if that has anything to do with it so... halp

 

and now its just timing out

The server resets like clockwork every three hours. If you try to join while it's rebooting it'll time out.

Aside from that, I don't know what would be crashing you assuming you have identical mods to the server. :/

 

i think i figured it out but i had to make a new character then edit that character in starcheat because someone had the nickname... the struggle

 

to the peeps i were playing with. we should play again sometime!

Many thanks but its in debate if ill return to the server tho sadly... planning on majoring only 1 server for the least maintenance possible.
But i might come back to see how things changed, I've also for-filled my promise to this server! (that being the lucarios)
Also been knees deep in work on the beta mod just to sate others... issues. working on clothes now.

I'm sorry this has been neglected by me for so long; life is crazy busy... I don't want to let this die, but it seems like every mod I recruit goes the way of me and poofs. I really don't even have time to back-end administrate at /all/ anymore, let alone work on fun features. I feel terrible for this, because, well... This was a great thing once. I know there are no moderators anymore, or administration, and I'm sorry these tools have been griefing us in these times.

To be honest I've considered closing down; in truth this is a half-finished project I'll never garner time to complete that's costing me a pretty penny each month at that. It just feels wrong to keep it up only for you all to be left behind other servers that do get regular updates and fixes.

Iunno, I'm just ranting here.

I suppose in the meantime I'll take on a few more moderators. Post recommendations?
