I think (s)he is saying 'here is fine' as in this website is okay enough.

For the screenshot, send the report thing to Snowpup, (s)he owns and runs the server.

If that is the case then I'd disagree for several reasons:
1. the server is already big enough to justify having it's own website
2. Organized information, stuffing everything into a single post is no good (where are the server rules anyways?)
3. having a place to report people instead of sending personal messages to the owner, it's not good to put all the weight on the owner.(I know, I ran a server like this in minecraft without any moderators for 2 years)
4. Some people like to talk to community members outside the game, posting screenshots, making suggestions, talking in a chatroom outside of the game, talking about/organizing RPing(yes this server has those), etc. They can't do that inside a single thread, it'd be chaos.
5. Moderator applications; People are complaining about the lack of moderators in-game, and as much as I know how hard it is to get good mods not having an application just makes it harder.
6. Getting a website setup will make it easier on everyone users, mods, and the admin. Having things organized means you can find things a lot faster instead of having to search through a single thread that is 100 pages and counting. You get less questions that have already been answered, and yes there will still be the guys who ask dumb questions but the ones with a brain will be able to find stuff on their own without digging through a thread or a bloated first post. You get the front page for announcements to keep everyone up to date on what is going on with the server.
7. When the server goes down there are going to be people who will come here asking what happened etc. even when it was already answered or others have already said it. You can't stop that of course but it gets in the way of other discussions going on because you only have this single thread.

 

@shakey2 that is the exacty reason why I bought an xenforo license and started up my forum. Having a single thread for your server really sucks.

 

AFAIK snowpup doesn't really have time to make a homepage, there is a difference between wanting to do smth and actually being able to do it

Then ask someone else to do it. This is why you need moderators, a single admin cannot run a public server like this on his/her own. While it is technically possible it puts a huge strain on the admin when things start going downhill, IE rulebreakers coming online while the admin is sleeping and unavailable for long periods of time. What happens when the admin has to go somewhere for a long period of time(vacation, work trip, etc.)? Shit hits the fan and nobody is there to clean up. Even if the admin dedicates all of his awake time to the server it won't be enough, trust me, I've tried. At the very least get a moderator application form setup.

Then you should have corrected the guy I quoted in that post when you quoted them. Also no it is not okay to post here as I said it is not appropriate and I do not wish to be ticketed/banned for breaking the rules. But it doesn't matter anymore because the person responsible was removed.

Then I guess that would make him a bad admin for not keeping an eye on one of his only communication methods with the community. Especially if he is supposed to be reviewing ban requests via this thread. Though that attitude of yours makes it look like you don't give a damn what happens on this server which makes me wonder why you are here.

There is the so called "Recent Activity" page, you know. I go there sometimes n see if anything interesting's going on.
I have played on FurryBound for a while, even if I don't play starbound anymore, I can still do things on the forum, and lurk into the thread of the server I spent a few hours on.

 

Pretty confusing.

 

I back Wing on this, I played with him months ago on the server. Even had epic battles. (maybe not epic but oh well.)
