huh. I just had some kids knocking on my door saying "Tricks or treats!" right now.
I asked them: "wait, isn't it a little too late for halloween?"
to which they replied: "We were on a trip mister! "

I handed them some cookies. Wonder what they had in mind for "tricks" had I chose that...

Also, spending the halloween playing Deadly Premonition is the right way to spend halloween. Just saying...

 

Technically, the phrase 'trick or treat' means 'give us a trick or a treat', not 'give us a treat or we'll trick you'.
