Hello everyone, my name is Monobogi but everybody calls me Mono. A few days ago i discovered Wargroove and i am so excited for it that i have been practicing a lot with advance wars, so when the day comes, i can wreck my enemies! Story of how i discovered Wargroove: Type "medieval advance wars" in google search. Wargroove pops up. Be like: Now with the main topic: FUN IDEAS FOR MODS. I actually have one that i want to see come true, and thats the possibility to use other sprites, not that i dislike this style, i kinda like it, but i WOULD LOVE to have a mod where i can use sprites from other games as long as they meet the resolution and color palette needed. I want specially sprites from Yggdra Union and Fire Emblem. (See my avatar to get an example on how i want it to look)
It's cool, but use sprites with copyright is not fair, and the moder can have problems, and I think that the developers are don't going to promove. But change the sprintes, couse it feed with you campaing, and you or a friend is a pixel artist is a diferent thing.
I had a similar experience. I found this game a while back when trying to look for a replacement for Jagex's 'Armie of Gielinor'. I hadn't heard of Advance Wars until the community here had recommended it to me. It's definitely a good game for people trying to figure out the concept of what Wargroove exactly is. As for mods - community made mods will be a thing. However staff won't consider turning mods into 'official mods' if it doesn't align with copyright and fair use.
