Fulscreen resolution mouse fail. Starbound 1.0

Hi,

I just bought Starbound and fullscreen mode makes my mouse very limited like it is in a box and cant move over the whole screen. I set the game to the same resolution as my pc and tried pretty much everything including changing some things in the config file to no avail. I also dont have 2 monitors and disabled steam screen overlay.
The resolution also only changes in fulscreen mode which i cant use and does nothing in windowed.
I never had this problem with any game in my entire lifetime so i hope you can help out because obviously i have to sacrifice a lot of crispness here playing windowed at a shite resolution. Again, fullscreen works but the mouse cant fully move everywhere. Thanks i hope i get some help because i am a customer and i bought this game.

I have this problem as well, as do a bunch of other people. The only thing I think we can do at the moment, is play the game in a lower resolution to get fullscreen to work. For now I play in 1280x720 and zoom level 2, only annoyance here is that the GUI is huge and sometimes overlaps.

The problem seems to be that the game thinks it is running at a lower res, at least when playing in 1920x1080. When I look in the config file (starbound.config in the 'steamapps/common/Starbound/storage' folder) WHILE the game is running, the "fullscreenResolution" property is set to 800x600, which propably corresponds to the area I can move the cursor in. But this is only while the game is running. Quitting resets it back to 1920x1080.

Changing the resolution only works for fullscreen mode for me which i cant use properly.
This is really something for the developers to fix. Why dont they?
Instead of making all these updates, fix the major issues first.

 

I have the same problem, kind of. I can move my mouse over the entire screen but much of the image is outside the screen. see http://imgur.com/KlAWTBj

Also, I just noticed that there's no progress sync between PC and Mac. I don't want to start over, but then again I don't want to scan the entire starter planet to find clues about the floran artifact either. None of the items on the surface led to any progress... Super annoying quest!
