Since every one is posting there ship here's mine took me forever to piece together

 

How do you get more thrusters and other ship pieces?

 

if i delete this mod will i have to delete the shipworld file or will it break my character if i dont

 

It is like having two shipworld files for the game to read. It can't do that. So you have to delete your current shipworld file for the mod to work. If you don't want to lose your stuff on the ship, put them all in a storage containers on a planet to retrieve after getting the mod to work. If you don't like the mod after you got it to work; make a copy of the shipworld file you have and put it on your desktop or somewhere on your computer to replace the mod shipworld file again.

My favorite mod so far, I deleted the folder from the mods folder after i finished making my ship and it's still working so far. It's kind of large so I had to connect the screenshots together with photoshop.

Is there a way to "lock" the ship once I'm done building by twiddlin a bit in the ship file? So any bits that are there it would set as unbreakable, but I would still be able to do like normal and put new chests, and other addons.

Also, what about adding the standard ship parts (engines, body flanges, etc) to the Printer?

 

i don't think you can "lock" the ship...

for the standard ship parts, just pick them up (with a drill or something) and scan them into your printer. you can then print as many as you want for 1 pixel/piece

 

this works with the new update kinda but when i opend my chest i was expecting ship parts but they turnd into perfectly generic items and when i play as a human i spawn in the wooden ship because madtulip and Mobules in A Box Dosent work for the new update. How Am I Supposed to Get the Ship Crafting Station?

 

Create a new character get the ship crafting table from that and go to the same planet as your other character

 

but i dont spawn in the Small Ship Because Madtulip isnt in there are Madtulip needs Modules in A Box Which Doesnt Work I Spawn In The Wooden Customizable Ship

 

Ok that's a problem

 

I've been looking into the possibility of editing the shipworld file to make parts of the ship indestructible. I haven't had much luck. If I can figure out how to make stuff indestructible I may look into writing a program that does it for you. I'm not planning on adding the parts to the printer by default, but you should be able to scan them yourself I'm not sure.

 

Can you make it for the race mod like the novakid,avali,munarie and the others?

Installed this mod on a server, and on my 2 local machines. Whenever the owner joins, he can use his ship. I join his, i get kicked back to my ship. if he joins mine it crashes his game.

Anyway, here's my ship.

with strategically placed lights for show.

with regular lights. There's a particular fluorescent light with a shorter range that I wanted to use instead of the 3 green lights in the middle, but the creative mod couldn't spawn it. The 3 doors in the rear clip the spotlights . . . it's a pretty cool effect, actually.

 

There isn't really a whole lot I can try to do to fix that issue with multiplayer. Not everyone has it and all my mod does is change the ship your character starts with. Maybe you could try sending me the server log.

 

I'll generate the problem and look get the log. I'll try to work on it this evening.

 

How do you go about putting up a background image? It would be handy to build over as a blueprint.
