Fully Civilized/ Industrialized Biome

    The name kinda speaks for itself, but I'll get into further detail. Instead of just being a small village, the entire planet would be covered in buildings. Not just small huts, but large 2-15 floored skyscrapers. There could be wilderness as a secondary biome, but no dungeons. The civilization could be populated with exclusively one race, or could be interracial. Most if not all of these biomes would have the standard human sci-fi theme. There could be different racial themes like a giant kingdom or a massive tree village, but that would be too much effort for such a small idea.

    Another idea is to add space ports. (which will fit with the sci-fi theme) These cities would be primarily interracial. There is where you could buy ship upgrades and maybe even dock your ship for other players to enter and see. You could also travel to other space ports that are not too far with no fuel cost. You would have to travel back in order to ride your ship again. These biomes will also have strict laws like no mining or furniture breaking, even in the wilderness (they will have outposts all over the wilderness, so they can see what you are doing). Your weapons will also be stripped away except your knife if you have one. You will have to kill the person who has your weapons New Vegas style if you want to start chaos which is very hard to do. This will make you want to go back to your ship and not rely on the space ports to progress.

    There could be another type of civilized biome called the industrial biome. Much of it would be factories and smoke stacks and the other part of it would be slums. A common hazard would be smog clouds. Underneath there could be sewers like the dungeon, but with less monsters. These sewers could be inhabited by shady people who live in dirty shacks. Here you could buy guns or mysterious stimpaks. You could also do their quests that will allow you to do criminal things like to kill someone or steal someone's stuff for money. Some of these industrialized biomes would run on big mining corporations where you could apply for a job. Mining stuff for them will give you more money than you would get with your refinery.

    Most civilized biomes will have all kinds merchants, places, entertainment, and job opportunities everywhere. I'm basically going to dump all of my small and stupid ideas here. There could be space bars where you could hang out with your alien friends and watch the news. There could be zoos where you could see all of the indigenous wildlife. You could ask someone In those shady sewers that I mentioned earlier to steal one of these animals for you to have as a pet for some money. If you want a more legal pet, there are pet shops where you could buy dogs, cats, mechanical chickens, etc. There could also be furniture shops, so that you don't have to raid an innocent man's home for a nice looking lamp.

    I can't believe I just wasted 30 minutes of my life on a stupid suggestion to a developer team who probably gets a crap-ton of mail already in a massive sea of forum posts. I guess this idea is more for modders or a to do list for me if I ever want to start modding.

    This is an amazing idea, but why did you discourage the idea of spaceports at the end of that paragraph?

    I love the idea of city planets full of merchants and cool buildings!

    Nice idea but developers have to fill the whole planet with buildings. I think it is so hard to do. But if they could create an engine which creates and places that buildings randomly it would be nice and easy.

    I would think that to keep from just being a lootfest you'd also have to put some kind of laws system into place. Common sense laws, like no stealing, shooting people, etc. Maybe restrict your ability to pull out weapons and possibly tools as well. If you wanted to get really fancy, have the abilty to work in factories or mines for pixels, and have a lot more merchants. You could get attacked by space gangs rather then monsters, so on, and so on. It'd be really cool but I feel like it'd turn into a game in its own right, but I can think of neumerous mods that do parts of this on a small scale so i dont think it's out of the question

    Sounds like if there were multi-biome on an industrialized world, it would be Big city, desert, and more big city? Likelyhood it would be a human or Apex world... Kinda thinking a combo of a warhammer 40k hiveworld and kansas....

    I like it. would make sense to find fully populated worlds to dominate.. erm.. i mean.. trade with... ya.. trade with..

    That's a really good suggestion.. I'd love to join a really busy city with all kinds of stuff to buy :)
