Fuel use other elemental states other than "solid" states...

one thing I didn't get to do in this game is to have liquid being moved around; piping. wit out this feature, I couldn't make lava traps.... anyhow...

So far... all materials we are gathering are "solid" based... even our "Fuel" for ship... I'd like to actually find liquid fuels or other types of liquids than "water", "colored water", and "poison water" and "lava"... maybe other than choking/touching hazards... we should have environmental/situational/chemical hazards; and also Uses for them...

    *more liquids:

Oil / gasoline: liquids that could be used as fuel, but be careful, because gun shots, or fire/electric weapon activated close to it will cause it to surface fire, and deplete slowly and burn anything nearby... could be set as trap for flaming river...

Tar: almost same as oil / gasoline usually under gasoline as the padding layer, slower to deplete as it burns, slow liquid flow, and slow walking/sinking in/ on top of it.. (swim able)

Quick sand. (not a fuel sorce, but good for other stuff, like traps) like liquids, but NOT SWIM-ABLE, sink REALLY SLOW, and each pool have it's own "vortex"once stepped on, players will be drawn toward vortex, can't jump, walk, boost, except "dash" , and "ball" but players can grapple out...

Swamp / Bayou. slower to swim in it, and have floating objects floor slippery, (pour that over plants to boost growth speed?)

Ocean: same as water, but (WAY) bigger pool and deeper, also evil swimming creatures. dark/murkier when deep under current will randomly push players around, need pressure/cold resistance deep under, but cool treasure/mini-bosses down under?

Polluted / Radioactive water: colorful, deadlier version of poison water, with radiating death that effect the air around it,

Speaking of effect in "air" ...
    *Gas elements

Spring / Geyser: pushes players when it "fires" players can place a generator on it and it will generate energy (when players stands close to it, when it fires, they will send close by friendly/player with energy boost; upgradable by different materials for better range)
OR players can make a bomb out of it, by plucking the "exit" and after 3 "fires", it will blow up (huge)

Gas: looks like constant spring, but usually at surface, but does NOT push players up, and smaller high makes it harder to spot. fire/spark/bullets/bombs will trigger flame for a few second, CAN be use for fuel. pluck will also cause it to blow up.

Methane: VERY hard to spot the let out point, and area around it is considered VERY poison to breath, and fire/spark/bomb will cause the let out point to BLOW UP, seeing that it's usually underground.... the aftermath is pretty scary, and it's the most powerful gas, so damage range is some what further than the poison range... Oh torch also triggers explosion. cheap lights better choice... this will only appear close to certain underground patterns.. it goes with specific tiles... will NOT BE NEAR LAVA

Plasma Elements... Actually... just lightning, a weather effect, CAN harness by building Transformer with Lightning Rod(better conductor / material upgrade?) and batteries inside the machine will be filled every time lightning strikes it, each battery cheaply made, and used up once "fueled" to ship, along with battery. like "smelting", empty battery on left side, and once stroked, few will be charged (depends on how big the lighting, and pool of battery type)

Lightning => battery is simple, but gas and liquid may need new mechanics...

*Having a tool for players to "pipe" water to compress in to backpack (like caring 1000 wood in one cell?) a gun that sucks what ever liquid players aimed... dumps like dumping gravel.

*Build pumps/pipes and a filler where players can place empty containers on one side, and as the liquid drains containers would fill, dumping will require players to "empty the bucket" and the filled buckets' count will deplete, and empty buckets' count will increase...

*Gas NEEDS container, depends on the gas being pumped, the gas will "leak" forever, harnessing it is slow, for each containers are filled VERY SLOWLY (pressure storage) and each can be pretty potent, OR once a "spot" is being harness, it has only limited fills before it becomes a dead geyser....

Of course, these new elements CAN be used to built new things... example: tar can be made to "plastic"(electric resistant, but not damage resistant) armor?

    yeah.... what ja think?

    Now each fuel types
