Fuel/Coal Crisis, and how to fix it

Told you i am going to test it out thoroughly. To see if your claims are based on something else than just whining because you do not want to look for what you want. If i ever encounter such planet that has no coal to get off to you were right and i was wrong.
Even faster if you give me the coordinates for the planet so i can test it out right now.

 

I haven't had any such problems yet, but if what you say is true(and I have no reason to believe you're lying) then there must be something wrong with ore generation, I believe the devs will get it fixed in the next patch, so sadly you will have to hold out until they do :<.

The game shouldn't be so heavily based on finding fuel. It's not a game about trying to fuel your ship and barely making it to other planets. It's a game about exploring, with the fuel aspect being only a minor challenge (before the update). It's like finding food. If it was hard to find food, it would be the game about finding food. It's only a small part of the game, and it's supposed to be just that.

How easily you find coal depends on the planet, and some have hardly any at all. My starting planet had one or two coal pieces about every 5,000 4-blocks in every direction (down and horizontally), which is a real struggle to get fuel. While you may have found a lot, not everyone will.

 

I'm at tier 2 (or 3, I'm not sure. Just got the steel armor) and I find enough fuel to visit every planet in my current solar system over and over again. Mind you, this is without digging period. I will admit, fuel is beginning to become scarce. But I still haven't dug any so..

 

Every planet has coal. Give me any coordinate that you can't find coal on and I -will- find it.

 

Yes please do hand out the coordinates so we can see if it is just because of impatience or actual bug/problem.

 

- EVERY planet has coal. Literally every single one of the 90+ since beta launch i visited had coal, including today's update. You can debate this all you want, that doesn't make it less of a fact.
IF a planet does NOT have coal, that means there's a generation error, which is an anomaly, which makes no difference should it work correctly.

 

I don't really know what's wrong with you people. Coal is pretty everywhere. I had no problems flying around the Universe. Why are you people so lazy? You want to runchop every tree you find around or you want to jump into a coal ocean? That ain't going to happen...hopefully.

That's.. Not coordinates. Grab the X and Y, usually looks like "12345678" "-12345678".

 

Numeric coordinates. The name alone does not help

id like to add that most of the coal that you will find and propley brag to me about finding, was used to make steel for my armor and the robot parts

 

Do not worry. Ill post pictures and we can crunch the numbers together to see was it depleted.

 

Hold on.. You had enough coal on the planet to put together approximately 250 steel bars? But not even 20 to fly to a nearby planet in the same solar system?
