Well i was just wondering this as so far all we have seen are mainly positive threads i would like to see some things you have seen that you didn't like or not liking what you are seeing so far.

This doesn't mean you don't like the game just something that's in it or a choice that's been made by the dev's.

    The po/golem.

It's ridiculously childish. Toilet humor is just... ugh.

  3. Evangelion

    Evangelion Supernova

Pretty hard to find something, maybe the cloning concept.

  4. Rekalty

    Rekalty Friend of the Night

That I'm not playing it right now.

Edith: I like that several people also think that the most disliked part about the game is that I'm not playing it.

    The blocks used as roofs
The texture don't seem to connect very well :(

Hm? Well, I'd have to say that SOME of the mobs seems slightly...well...foolish at times, but that's just the effect of randomization. I guess, I'll go with the fact that some don't fit their environments very well. Like, say, you have a nice blue forest with bubble trees...and bright pink, four-armed creatures, and some neon-green spiders. Just seems kind of gnashing when the colors don't merge very well.

It's all about survival you know? A bright pink deer would never last long, that's why most animals are a shade of brown, black or white.

The spaceship travel thing, it looks like the background is moving. It looks like one of those plays where the characters are ''walking'' to the right but the background is just being moved.

I hate the open world aspect, I think there should be more unskippable super long cutscenes with characters you don't care about. And rail shooting, I like rail shooting. There should also be a character in the game that is the main character's love interest, but they are a total idiot and talk in a really annoying high-pitched voice, yeah, that would be nice. I joke, I joke.
Anyway, In all seriousness, I don't really like the space travel bit at the moment, it seems boring. I would enjoy an optional minigame in which you avoid star systems that are in your way while travelling to your destination. Or random events like pirate attacks and asteroid collisions as you travel; you could fend off the pirates as they try to board, or patch the hole in your ship where the asteroid hit before your oxygen tank runs out. That way there would be more stuff to do for those who get bored, and simple realism for the RP'ers.

This unknown Beta date other than that I hate the build tool, efficient yes, but I preferred placing blocks by hand like in Terraria.

    Edit: For clarification

Oh, I thought you had to use the manipulator for block placement since it gives it to you in beginning of the game. Learn something new everyday.

I'm not a fan of some of the excessive negativity, but that's the community, not the game.

For actual game things, probably that the default place block mode is 2x2, and that thus far basically all of the weapons we've seen in action seem to be 2handed, which means you can't have your flashlight in your offhand so you can navigate while fending off hordes of gribblies.
Unless it's been 1handed weapons and nobody cares to stuff their flashlight into the offhand.

Elaborate. Because you don't really need a tool for building at all. Well the matter manipulator, sure but you don't have to "use" it or have it equipped or anything whilst you build. :)

Or maybe you just don't like the concept of the matter manipulator? Then nvm!

nop, I mean the roof from the last daily update (22 october). It connect's pretty well horizontally, but vertically it doesn't connect at all :notworthy:
The same happens with the roofs in the 1st floran screenshots.

You're mistaken. There have been many screenshots of one handed weapons and tools, as well as dual-wielding flashlights/grappling hooks etc.

I know the stuff exists, but at least for the content that I have seen, it hasn't been shown, it's always flashlight out, oh god monster, switch to sword and swing in the dark.

For off-colored creatures, I might just chalk it up to 'they don't see on the same wavelengths we do, for the life on this planet they DO blend in.'
