There's the bug reporting on Nexus. The pink rectangle around him is a new issue, I don't know what's causing it and can't reproduce it As to the other error, can you post your full log file (https://log.smapi.io/) and tell me what other mods you are using? Also are you using SV 1.2 or 1.3? I know of this error, however this shouldn't really happen anymore.

I would recommend going to https://log.smapi.io and follow the directions. Then share the link. The errors you posted, show two mod's having issues 1. MTN 1.0.6 by SgtPickles aka GameMX 2. PyTK
Sorry to dump that on you, I'm more than a bit out of my depth here. I solved the problem by deleting both mods.
