But yea, I sincerely doubt this has anything to do with FU, since I haven't altered that feature at all. I added a brush type, no more.

we tried your mod - it looks awesome. Homewer we can't seem to get erchius crystals. Is it possible that the quest line with Aj...(Can't remember his name) got bugged in multiplayer? Thank you for answers!

Edit: Or to be more specific, we can't find a way to fix ship engines.

 

so what unlocks the new Exitus mech parts? -edit and yes i have tried to look though the githhub so unless i need to find the blueprint what unlockss it.

you need to be more specific than that.

Vinj quests are not currently multiplayer friendly. you will both need to do a quest on a Lush world to obtain the tricorder. Or build the tinker table and construct the tricorder on it.

once you get a tricorder, he guides you to the new starter dungeon, which will lead you to the outpost.


BYOS mode has *very clear* instructions on how to repair your ship. But you will actually need to *read* all of the stuff Pete says, and the quest dialogs.


if using BYOS mode and a custom race, you *require* the BYOS FU addon for races
if using Optional Storyline, you *require* the BYOS FU addon for it
if using ANY nav-screen editing mods (other than More Planet Info) you cannot use them with FU installed. They will override needed files.

otherwise, the quest prompts make it clear on what you need to do. But you will need to at least do the first steps in singleplayer until you have the tricorder, or create one manually. But without talking to the dude, you will not get access to the Science Outpost. There is no other way to unlock it.

congratulations. Follow the bug reporting instructions you didn't bother to even look at, which are in bold red letters right at the top of the main page for FU. Until then there is nothing I can do.

 

Having trouble downloading from the link on this site gets to about 10 percent done and restarts at 0 being trying for 6 hours

 

Try again, then. Git works reliably every time I have ever tried. There is nothing I can do about it. Git is a *very* trustworthy network to use.

 

Steam is reliable also, but a bit slower on updates than Git.

And I'm pretty sure you could have "Post a Log" in bright neon flashing colors and people would still miss it.

 

Thanks but I can't use steam I use my phone to get me mods for the game for now it's my only isp for now none for my PC but I'll try again tomorrow thanks for the help or I will have someone download it and send it thru email

 

perhaps it doesnt properly download via mobile. That , my friend, could be entirely possible. I wouldn't know, but I am not sure on the mobile-readiness of github without an app.

 

Had no trouble getting 2 other mods from here but that was from their site not an external download but thanks for trying to help

Theres a very godo chance youre not giving it a good wait enough: FU gives the game ALOT more to load and the little loading icon for me always stops for 2-3 minutes before hitting the menu. Itll get there, use patience.
