Reporting a small bug it seens.

The quest "Feeling Thirsty?" is not finishing for me.

I finished that quest before the current build of FU were you introduced the remote quest monitor with the tricorder when I picked up water in the well. Now it dont finish for me since I already have it listed as a finished quest in the quest list.

How I finish that quest withy admin commands? I need it to finish the tutorial questline.

 

Is there any mods that add a blood/liquid blood item that conflicts with Frackin' Universe?

I seem to be encountering a, bug, I believe? It involves the Science Outpost and a factor within unlocking it.

After completing the quest that Vinalisj gives you, the one requiring the fancy table, I got the pamphlet for the Science Outpost and the Personal Tricoder he gives you. First, the Science Outpost. I go to the machines on the 2nd floor and they appear to not be displaying any recipes. When I click "materials available", things pop up, but they aren't the correct items that should be coming from that machine. (See pictures)

Second, Within the Personal Tricoder, there appears to be a few quests that require a previous quest to be completed, but have been completed. For instance, I chose the "Powered Up" quest. I close the window, play a bit, trying to figure out what I need to do to complete the quest. Stumped, I look back into the Personal Tricoder, low and behold it says "Unavailable! Requires -Meet Vinalisj", which... I've OBVIOUSLY completed, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten the device.

The pictures attached do display mods that're from outside FU, however the results I am posting are from a client that I and a friend have used with ONLY FU installed.

Any help/advice would be appreciated.

 

Excuse me, but I've been getting 2 error(s) and 1 warning(s) when trying to extract Frackin Universe from it's ZIP folder to my mods folder (and my desktop) using 7zip.
The 2 ERRORS are:
1. "ERRORS: HEADERS ERROR"- "Unconfirmed start of archive"
2. "Data error: FrackinUniverse-5.4.93\parallax\Images\bognewmid\base\2.png"

The 1 WARNING is:
"There are some data after the end of the payload data:
PHYSICAL SIZE: 117 523 787
TAIL SIZE: 2 013 877
Characteristics: Local"

I've tried re-downloading the file and tried opening it again, but I had the exact same error (s). This is the first update where this has occurred; all others before it seemed fine; what do?

 

you delete the existing FU mod folder before unzip? It is necessary to avoid errors ands futures bugs in game.

 

that isnt a bug at all. As per update notes recently: You can no longer use those stations to unlock or craft things. You *must* craft the FU stations now.



As for quest-related things for quests you already had... due to how SB handles previous quests, some just wont play nice. Not much I can do about that on preexisting characters short of you manually completing the quests via commands. My existing characters had the same issue, but my new one did not.

no idea, since theres nothing wrong with the git build and no one else has ever reported it as an issue.

 

I create a new character and exchange all items, resources, etc. to the my old character.
I choice the BYOS and my question is: installing solar panels in the station exterior, the panels works? xD

what console? Nothing in the log that is useful.

I'm never doing that, ever. Not worth the effort.

Solar requires sunlight to work and does not function on ships.... this applies to the exterior as well. i may reevaluate this, but the idea is to not use solar for everything.

dark energy, cosmic energy and rad energy is good options for new energy stations for ships in space, and the amount of generate energy depend of orbited planet or solar system? example: dark energy is best in black stars, rad energy: irradiated planets and gas planets.

 

Basically for some reason the ship was never fixed, so I get the Navigation offline on that particular character. She cannot move beyond the first planet(which made the forced trip to the core on that specific planet thanks to no mother poptop spawning a waste of time). I talked to the pirate guy who fixes the ship as usual and the animation played but the ship was simply never updated to be properly fixed.

 

yea, because the BYOS version requires 20 erchius crystals, obtained from the mission. you cant just use skip commands for it anymore. You need to build the FTL engine.
