I am having issue with some weapons. Not sure if bug or intended. When using the secondary on FU weapons with the flamethrower it gets stuck in the position you released the mouse. Made a GIF of What I mean:



This may occur with other weapons but this is the first one with a flamethrower secondary I have crafted.

ed: Tried it with Firestorm's Fury (the quest reward from Naru) and that weapon works properly.

 

That looks quite similar to how the "Combat Knives" mod works, where attacking in a direction will cause them to stay pointed that way, except they aren't completely locked that way.
Does it reset upon switching to another item, then back to the flamethrower sword? And does using the Flamethrower again make it face a different direction?

 

Yes to both. I do not have any combat mod installed though, here is what I have:

hmm odd. they follow the same methods as the others. meh, with a relocator, that isnt so big a deal. I'll simply add Persist back to True.

 

i recently noticed it as well. I don't know why, but it isn't a huge concern right now. ill log it for later.

 

Oh hey, thanks for having the Erchius Converter be able to create essence! Terraforming is fun, but the vault grind was boooooooring!

 

Erchius Converter? What can it convert to essence?

 

Fuel fluid. Fifty units nets you four hundred units of essence. It's pricy, but still a lot less sloggy. You can buy thorium, which you can spin into ultronium, which you can convert into fluid which you can convert into essence.

I think also all forms of moons(including the ones without erchius ghosts) generate liquid erchius in atmosphere/liquid condensers. A couple even lack asteroids. Could be an effective way of quickly getting the liquid erchius you need.

 

So, i found this weapon upgrade anvil, which apparently can upgrade weapons which have already been upgraded at the vanilla game WUA.
When i tried it with the updated Kluex Staff the item simply vanished from my inventory.
I take it that it's not intended but i'm not sure if the game simply didn't notice my Kluex Staff was already upgraded and made a mistake OR
if there's a second upgrade which that anvil can make but failed to do so.
I'll just post this here for notification purposes.

Aha, so they spawn in precursor dungeons! That will make this so much easier.

 

Ok I know my opinion means nothing but this was one of the coolest things i've seen in the game. The liquid iron rain scorched the ground right before my eyes. With no protection from the heat I was forced to beam up, at least I got a nice haul of Densinium from the interior of this planet though.

 

Stuff like this is why I love this game. So many really cool sights to take in.
