    need more info. did it instantly crash? over time? nothing here looks directly FU related in this regard. was it a 64k world? 12k? etc. this all matters. 64k might just be too much for your PC to handle, maybe?

    the rest looks to be an effect error, likely because your pet has no energy. That, I can correct easily enough.

    something going on there, but not sure what. Since again, no clue on the source. Doesn't say much. Try another planet of the same type, see what happens. Haven't ever heard of this happening.

    All right, I thought this might be a more common thing or I'd have given more info. Okay, booting up the game again...

    It's this planet:

    Attempting to access it again crashed the game. I'll try a different one and see if it works. There's an unknown planet of 11000 size here, let me check it...

    Loaded. And as I was jumping to that planet, I realized something incredibly off with the jump to the other. The map window just...doesn't display anything. From the very start, it just looks like this:

    I'll do some more testing and see if it's just planets of certain size causing this.

    ...Oh crud. This time it reloaded to mid-jump. Uh, I'll get back to you on this. lol

    yea, I am 100% positive this is not an FU issue. Never once seen this, nor has anyone in over 100,000 players reported somethign similar.

    This could be from another mod you are using that is no longer capable of running on starbound, for instance. I really can't tell you much more than that.

    you are loading that mod twice, firstly. remove the extra.

    Hmm... I don't actually have very many mods on there, though. Not any that could POSSIBLY be causing this, at any rate. Might just be the old issue of starbound not being optimized well for 32-bit comps. *sigh* Guess I'll have to wait until I get my new gaming computer to play this mod. Thanks anyway!

    If you're using GOG version, you can just make a copy of the game folder. Literally just copy and paste the whole folder, rename it to something else, and then put the mod in that one. That way you can keep TOTALLY SEPARATE versions, with and without FU, both fully playable. I do this.
    I don't have experience with the Steam version, but it might work the same, you'd just need to make shortcuts to the copied folder since you wouldn't (i imagine) be able to launch it through Steam.

    Sorry if this was asked before, but The Hail strike says its projectiles are homing, does that mean the part where they reflect a bit midair?

    You can do this with the steam version, too. I've done it as well so that I could run earlier versions of starbound (due to liking them better.)

    just tested. Yes it is. All secondary projectiles created from primary explosions home just fine.

    note that they won't home on bosses though, or certain other targets.

    Hi sayter,

    I've found a little incompatiblity to another mod called "Freedom of Movement" ( http://community.playstarbound.com/resources/freedom-of-movement-better-dash.3994/ )
    If using FU & FoM the different spheres don't work correctly, because they then don't have their special abilities and the player isn't able to transform back to normal.

    I really love both FU & FoM because the doubletapforwards is really impractical and really keyboardkilling.

    Do you think you can install the feature of FoM in FU, so that you only have to press the key combination "up + forward" for the Dash?

    they both likely use the same lua files, which means they cant both occupy the same space (basically).


    However, no, I really don't want up+forward to be dash. So I don't think I'll be adding that. The other stuff more or less already exists in FU in some way or another.

    Sayter, will we be seeing any more Frozen wastes research facility codex? I really like the mysterious feeling to them.
    Also, potato PC cannot handle so many burrowers... Alienware alpha, why must you be a knob.
