    I'm playing with the legit character and I'm slowly progressing through the mod's contents, I have 2 feedbacks for now:
    1) Can you make Densinium ores more visible? They are grey in a environment of grey rocks and stuff, they are visible only on dark areas because they glow, but near torches' lights or visible areas they don't stand out enough to be recognized imho.
    2) Why the mining lasers can't dig walls? Swapping between laser and matter manipulator isn't very comfortable..

    Then it works 100% fine, and you simply aren't using it right. It SHOULD work fine at least, unless the new Stable update broke it.
    You MUST place an Upgrade Module into the relevant slot for that item type. The menu for it that pops up makes it rather evident which goes where. Second, it can ONLY upgrade randomly generated weapons/shields, but should be able to upgrade any type of armor.

    Clone Yourself doesn't complete because there is nothing more to the clone lab beyond making a damned sapling lol.
    As for Dark Edge of Space: It's not done, far from it, so it cannot be completed at present.

    *sigh* Sorry dude, but there are quests to guide you through it...but its really simple. Exactly as any other crafted object in starbound. Extract in the Xeno to get the resources. Make the lab in the same lab as always, the gene design lab. There's nothing to say beyond that other than explore on your own where to find seeds/genes. I'm not revealing it all. The point is to figure it out :)

    You haven't updated starbound yet? Get on that. And there IS a wiki/guide, and its address is linked directly from the main page. The rest of the guide is in-game in the form of quests and figuring it out yourself. If you can magically supply the extra 80 hours it would take me to type up a full guide, feel free.[DOUBLEPOST=1450654466][/DOUBLEPOST]

    that log has nothing to do with FU whatsoever. It's looking for outpost2.gearup and outpost3.gearup. Those arent quests in FU.

    possible that it no longer works in the new Stable. I'll have to take a peek, though it should work fine. I certainly had no issues the last time I played with it, pre-stable update anyway. Worked a charm.

    No. They are intentionally exactly as they are. They will not be changed. They are not meant to be easily seen in the light, and are intended to blend in. That's why its a rare/legendary ore.

    Because each tool stands out for its own merits this way. MM cant cut terrain as fast at top tier , and doesn't like up an area. But it can get background blocks, suck up water and is accessible with a hotkey. Comfort isn't a concern :) You can choose to use both, or stick with the MM... or upgrade your Mining Laser to the highest tier, which then unlocks some Uber-Manipulators that surpass the top-upgraded MM by far.

    As stated many, MANY times: You must have it powered adequately. You can ONLY upgrade armor, or RANDOMLY GENERATED weapons/shield loot. NO OTHER WEAPONS will work. Period.

    Third, you can ONLY upgrade it using the relevant section of the upgrade station.

    Armor can ONLY use the middle row. Weapons can ONLY use the top row, shields can ONLY use the bottom row. As indicated graphically on the hud itself. Any other combination will do nothing at all

    Tried the upgrade station with armor, it works great
    but it doesn't work on weapon, random generated or not doesn't work
    it sorta work on elder blade, buut not really, the upgrade module disapear but no stat increase.
    also doesn't work on shields

    btw, has anyone found a mod for measuring distances with a tape measure. i cant seem to find any on the building or in-game tools. For anyone asking for clarification, i'm thinking like the tape measure from bibliocraft or the ruler from terraria.

    probably has to do with the recent change of all randomgen items in vanilla starbound. Either way, I am exceptionally unconcerned as that station is not mandatory, and merely was added due to requests. If its busted, meh. The armor upgrade works, so I could simply rename it the Armor Upgrade Station :)[DOUBLEPOST=1450662077][/DOUBLEPOST]

    probably because outpost2 and 3 used to exist and no longer did, or another mod you play with added them and it is now missing. Nothing else would cause it :)[DOUBLEPOST=1450662196][/DOUBLEPOST]
    yea, i kept forgetting about it. Drove me nuts when testing biomes recently , so I finally remembered to fix that crap

    I like this mod, but one thing that really annoys me is the starting planet changes.
    I like the fact you can find different orchards on the starting planet.
    But what I don't like is the chance of beaming down into a hive biome that you have no hope in surviving
    unless you quickly type /admin so you won't be killed by the swarms of hornets[or are they bees] that spawn in the biome.
    So when ever I get the Serious Mod pack I always remove this mod from it cause of the starting planet having a no win biome
    you could possibly beam down into.

    the chances are low, but it can happen, true. In my start-ups I've had a rough to survive biome a few times. Maybe 5 or 6, out of roughly 100 at this point from testing things all the time. But you're only on the starting planet for a very short time, and you can always dig down and walk the long way around. To each their own. I hardly find it a serious issue when this is the first complaint I've heard about it :) If that changes, I'll reevaluate Garden sub-biomes

    I wouldn't discard a mod like this over something so unlikely.....and solvable. I mean the starting planet is....well....at the very start. It's not that hard to just do a universe reset in the rare event that this happens and move on.....you don't have anything to lose yet and takes no time to get back where you were.

    Hm, I don't particularly like this graphical choice, but I'll deal with it by beign more careful and use their "glow" to find them.

    About the laser and mm I get that, I just wondered if it was intended or a WIP. The lasers are cool, they are powerful and since many rocks are very resistant I like the idea of a laser to mine them.

    the graphical choice was done intentionally so that they are harder to notice. Likewise with Corruption Seed ore. They kinda blend in , making you actively need to look for them. Pretty much every other ore in the game is easy as heck to notice. These two are meant to be rare and hard to find :)

    - early stages of the Shoggoth mission rewrite are now explorable. There's a LOT more to come, but this is the section you can actually do stuff in for the time being. Feedback welcomed.

    - substantially weakened the Mini-Shoggoth worms

    - fixed petrifiedroot and rockroot effects

    - fixed an issue with toxicdart projectile using a stat effect removed from vanilla in the stable update that I’d missed.
