    Bug report: Visited a gasball and got this message in my log:
    [16:22:37.349] [Error] Exception while creating lua context for scripts '('/stats/effects/fu_tileeffects/gas/gas.lua')': (LuaException) Error code 3, [string "/stats/effects/fu_tileeffects/gas/gas.lua"]:27: '}' expected (to close '{' at line 9) near 'end'

    I checked gas.lua and found that it did indeed miss a curly brace at the end, so I put one in. Will go back to the planet and check.

    Edit: Now I'm getting this error instead:

    do i need more critter and scenry mod when iam using frackin universe??and can some one make a tutorial about how to update frackin universe not download it agaaaaaaaaaaaaain

    More critter and scenery isn't needed. It's an optional plugin. But if you use it, any new planet you go on is most likely married to it, and will crash because of missing assets if you uninstall it.
    And you've just gotta bite the bullet and redownload the whole thing each update. Time consuming, but given how long putting out any sort of update for a mod can be, I don't blame sayter in the least for only putting out full versions instead of "update from version" files.

    And no, Frackin'Universe does NOT require any mods for it to work properly. It's 100% stand-alone. There's two companion mods (Frackin'Music and Frackin'Races) but they are not required for the base mod.

    No you don't. You can update from GitHub, as per my guide that's linked right on the overview page.

    Said method of updating takes less than a minute on most occasions. And that's with a slow 3Mbit connection like mine.

    Unless the critter mod screwed up, there shouldn't be. And if there is, all you gotta do is just delete the critter mod.

    Well, if you were expecting it to work like the sprinklers in the game as the bot seemed to be designed to be like, it's hardly unreasonable to expect it to not flood everything indoors. That said though, it'd be an awesome bot to help you fill in a swimming pool or artificial lake.

    Most likely both, they were working on status effect an immunities rebalance and they're reworking the entire armor set bonus system. Plus 1.3 is near, so they are probably working on adapting FU, designing space dungeons and monsters and mech parts.

    Yes, but you'll oftentimes hear silence on any planets generated before the uninstall.

    Bug report: Did the Frozen Wastes mission just now, and noticed that some of the cultists dropped PGIs. When I checked the log... well, it's very difficult to read anything, because the whole thing is shock full of countless entries of this:

    It just goes on and on and on forever, the same two lines repeating. (I've included SAIL's messages to establish where it begins.) I can't even provide a pastebin link because the log is 14 MB, which exceeds Pastebin's limits. Hope this is enough to go on, anyway.

    Other than the PGIs, the Wastes played just fine as usual.

    I just wanted to say some times I talk to random generated NPC mission it freezes my game for 6 seconds or so and then their dialogs shows up..is it just me or ??

    I have a quick question well 4.

    1. How do i get the Ultronium(ux3)? i want to upgrade my mining gun to the cannon.

    2. What does the effigym ores look when they are on the wall? (since its lore says its nearly invisible)

    3. Where is a good locations to get tritium ores? since it have trident almost in it i think its in a tide water planet.

    4. How do i beat the abandon science lab (chuthulu mission) since you somewhat need the spike ball tech? (i alrdy beat it once but now since my spike ball tech is acting wierd not letting me move and when i get out of it i'm halfway through the floor)

    P.S. i'm somewhat iffy on getting the new update since the github don't tell what it changed or not.

    1. Ultronium can be obtained by running uranium through the gas centrifuge, then running enriched uranium again through it. (plutonium can also be turned into enriched plutonium this way)

    2. Effigium ores look a lot like.... lead i believe on the ore detector beacon. Color Wise.

    3. Tritium, which is H3, a hydrogen alloy with 3 protons, can be obtained either as waste from a nuclear generator or from running deuterium through a gas centrifuge. (deuterium can be obtained by running water through a centrifuge)

    4. I never need spikeball tech in the abandoned lab area, only to access some areas in the city. Spikeball is susceptible to speed buffs. If you have a speed boost engaged it will be all wonky.

    PS. I'm just as confused as you are on the new update.
