    Ahheh, sorry if I came across as hostile. Absolutely not intentional. I just wanted to make clear that the fuel cost increase isn't as big an issue as it may seem. (Given that I held off using FU because I thought the non-cumulative EPPs would be a problem, I know how easy it is to assume.)

    And yeah, having to manually search through every star system and look at each planet individually is a teeth-pulling pain, and you always find only garbage planets that don't have what you're looking for.

    It would be nice if, when you click on a star, it first shows a very brief summary of every planet in the system, i.e. just the planet types. Would cut down search time to like 20%. Eh, we can dream.

    Yeah, it seems like the universe is absolutely full of acid, bogs, and primeval forests... but edens and tabula rasas etc are almost impossible to find. lol. Ah well.

    another mod is using an ID already claimed by FU.

    yea, you have about 9000 things not loading. Either because you deleted mods you are using content from, or something else is horribly wrong. Either way it isnt FU.

    yeah but i looked at me log and disabled lots of my mod and started a new game...and suddenly this happend ...i was playing good with no problem

    right. as i just said: you disabled a ton of mods, and those mods are likely still in use in your world. As such, they cannot load the resources and this happens. Nothing to do with FU. This is user-error :)

    A couple of ideas:

    First, a backpack that has a slot for consumables and automatically uses them once the buff they provide wears off. If not possible then a backpack that extends the duration of buffs and other beneficial effects.
    Second, genetic engineering, permanent passive buffs to the player, although I'm not sure if this is possible, the alternative would be using the back slot again. This offers a lot of possibilities, from the basics, jumping higher, running and swimming faster and breathing underwater to more complex stuff like zapping enemies that struck you at melee, like an electric eel.

    Both ideas will benefit from the underutilized genes and designed plants system, which is pretty much self contained save a few exceptions. I personally never utilize consumables, not in this game or any other game, I always forget to reapply them, I have bad memory, so I end up skipping consumables altogether. in my opinion, consumables don't usually last long enough to make me consider spend some time gathering resources and crafting them. The only exception I can remember is World of Warcraft, because consumables usually last for 30-60 minutes and some persist after dead.

    I whipped up a tiny program to help with that - you can download it here.

    The code is pretty ghetto, but it works for me - just drag and drop a folder {you can do it straight from a zip file} into the program and it should drop a .pak on your desktop.

    The usual disclaimer apply, I'm not responsible if your computer catches fire, don't run strange files from the interwebs before scanning them first, etc.

    Lemme know how it goes.

    Thank you for the utility. Actually, I can pak it using the default asset_packer.exe. The issue our server has is that we have to run the exact same pak version AND style (pak vs. extracted) otherwise, we have asset mismatch issues. If I pak it for the server, and our clients are still using an extracted version, they have trouble logging in. We are currently running extracted on both sides without major issues. Well, except it takes a bit longer for the game to load with an extracted version. Like I said, not a major issue. Was just curious.

    Yeah, that's what it basically is - if you look in yout %temp% folder, you'll find the asset_packer.exe there. All it does is just do some error-checking and runs the packer with the right parameters.

    But, you do see the problem, yes? So, what do you think is using the ID?

    I have StarTech and StardustLib, CustomCollectionsUI, SkippableCinematics, and Maverick-Hunters' MMX.

    Also, FU does seem connected. Every other mod does not crash the game, but if FrackingUniverse is added -and it doesn't matter by Steam or manually as I have tested both ways of installation- it Crashes to desktop. If anything, it may be conflicting with a ID in the base game.

    I'll uninstall and reinstall to see if that fixes anything.

    Edit: Nope, I deleted to the whole folder and reinstalled. I don't know. Do you need that log as well or no?

    Edit II: Fixed. Turns out the Crimson mod in the workshop was acting up. I read the log myself and then hours later, I figured it out.

    the only involvement FU had, as I stated specifically, was that something else was conflicting with a tile ID that FU was already using. So yea. Not my bad. Another mods bad not doing their homework.

    I've been debugging this mod for 3 years. If you don't think I know what I am talking about, then perhaps to go someone else with your bug reports. lol.

    The darkness sensors in the frozen wastes dungeon go haywire if you are using the war angel set, because the helmet has a light source, which is funny considering how the war angel set is the best armor to complete the dungeon for the first time.

    Quick question - If I want to get rid of the brewing or bee stuff, are there branches for that somewhere? Or could I just edit the stuff out of the mod-folder? It would also be great to know, what other parts of FU might be affected - Are there any non-bee connected recipes that would stop working for example?
