Bug report: Every time I try to use the power station, this happens.

 

Two bugs: The ice-crystal based xitricite recipe doesn't show anymore and batteries after being broken down with charge don't work ( not a new bug/limitation).

 

Hi, new to this mod and really love it so far. As a noob in general, I have to ask: in order to understand and get the best from your mod, do I need to read the tons of changelogs back to 2015 or so? Or does the quest line tell me what to do so I can gain access to your new biomes at some point? Lot of armor crafting, etc to try and get protection from hostile elements and status ailments and I feel lost. However thanks for all you incredible work and I've has so much fun (bit overwhelming tho!)

 

Can't find router and other things from steambound at machining table. Maybe i should unlock it somehow?

 

"Electric Fluffalos now hatch" ?? I had one before this version though; he hatched.

Weapon made of that fire alloy is worth 41000 pixels? Isn't that a bit excessive? It's out of line with vanilla items by a factor of 10. Build a farm if you want pixels .

By any chance, did you change the way that you're able to harvest honey from honeycombs in the honey jarrer by any chance? Because I have a lot of empty jars in my honey jarrer (It is connected to the Industrial Centrifuge) and it just not using any of them to make honey jars of any kind... Am I doing something wrong here?

EDIT: NEVERMIND!! I just needed more power...

 

Gas centrifuge and Alternator are both running now, and I gotta say the latter one feels so steampunky. I reckon I'll get very tired of the noise soon, but it's definitely a nice way to get into power early.

The gas centrifuge output seems borked, though. I ran 1000 water through it, and all I got was contaminated water and oxygen - no deuterium or anything else. When I ran the contaminated water through, all I got was regular water.

 

The new pump works fine without power, somehow. In fact, when I did connect its left blue node to a solar array, it stopped working. (The right blue node connected, it worked fine. But yeah, no power req?)

Edit: Also, it doesn't actually drain away the water - it just adds water items in its storage. Good if you want infinite water, but we have ocean planets for that.

ice crystal version has been removed. as have pyreite and isogen alternates.

questline will be fine

the pump is doing exactly what its meant to right now. power use will come later. its not configured to use it yet. It is *supposed* to suck up liquid into its hopper, converting it into items You can then connect it to a router, which will then funnel it into your central storage area. You can also tell the router specifically *which* container to send it to. That means you can make it send water one way, acid another...etc.

 

Triton Sub won't move no matter what I do...am I missing something?

 

are you sat in the correct seat?

for reference, if you're in the driver's seat, you'll see your character in the front bubble window

 

I certainly havent touched the triton in months, so I don't see why it wouldn't be fine. Likely the wrong seat.

 

I've never used a vehicle before (could never afford it) didn't even realize it had more than one seat...lol.

 

Im doing the bee quests right now, and i cant seem to extract it from honeycombs. its an iron centrifuge hooked up to more than enough power. am i doing something wrong?

 

it's cool. i only speak after having experienced being in the wrong seat myself once or twice and having "wtf" moments

edit: if you have your cursor towards the front of the vehicle when you hit your "use" button, you're more likely to get into the driver's seat. if you interact with your cursor towards the middle/back of the vehicle, you're more likely to get into the passenger seat. i think. that's what my testing says, at least

 

so, some fiddling with the item transfer system, just doing small scale system testing on my ship to try and figure stuff out >.>.

terminal blue to router red, router red to container blue, router blue to origin container red, router red to destination container blue makes the wires light up like they're powered. i remove the origin container red to router blue, and...

the wires appear unpowered. i then connect destination container (hydroponics tray) bridge's red to router blue and...

everything goes unpowered again. router settings are...

and nothing is being transferred one way or another. (yeah, yeah...i know. cheaty bastard. i like how it looks, and i mostly play because i enjoy building stuffs . oh, and i've beaten the bosses enough times legit that i feel ok about essentially skipping through them heh)
