I have not tried the mod yet but I am wondering if there will be war-zone biome, like crater riddled area with a chance of artillery shower in between two civilization location as if they are at war, like no-mans-land from WW1? Or would there be primitive war-zone with enemies fighting each other with only melee weapons and view you as an enemy in confusion.

Is the loss of "X-Pressure" when upgrading from the Nautilus to the Kraken gear supposed to exist?

Or the loss of protection from bio-ooze when going from Kraken to Leviathan?

I can sort of see the reasoning behind such a thing (specialization at cost of versatility), but I just wanted to check with y'all to make sure these losses are, in fact, intentional.

    Thanks!

    So...strange thing happened today...

    Surface Hylotl ruins.jpg Underwater towns.jpg
These are on a regular tier 3 ocean planet, not a "Strange Sea". It's as if the game decided to spawn the islands under the sea as a continent while spawning the ocean floor hylotl ruin on a surface island. Very, very strange.

Edit: I accidentally double-posted the log file. Figure maybe it'll reveal how or why this happened to the planet?

Oceans have been doing that for months. Try going straight up and running into cavern layers.

always finish vanilla before you start adding mods
that goes for every game ever
eitherwise you won't know what the mods do since you have no clear point of reference
if this was a STALKER thread, i'd have already thrown you into a dark room with a bloodsucker

Well all this does is add new content, it doesn't change what the game is. All i was actually asking is if this mod is stable and well made.

Playing Call of Chernobyl before the base game is most certainly not advised because it changes the game entirely. I don't wanna start a game and then realize it lacks content, instead i'd add the content right away. I wouldn't recommend anyone play base Skyrim even though it's great with mods. Same goes with Fallout games. I played dragon age origins without any mods, it was nice but the mods aren't good enough to replay the entire game, i wish i used mods from the start.

I didn't finish vanilla before picking this one up, and ended up just fine. There's a bit of a steep learning curve, however, so I wouldn't use it right from the start for your first playthrough.

It might be better to learn the vanilla systems first. I think crafting a bow and harvesting moon-fuel is enough to teach you about everything except wiring, as far as mechanics go.

That's the point at which I'd start over using Frackin' U. The content boost is massive.

Is there like a website or somewhere to request features or talk with the mod creators about new features that you can make yourself and then add them to the mod?

Do all oceans do it or just a few here and there? I remember a month ago I had regular unbugged ocean as usable bases....heck that planet I could teleport off normally without any difficulty.

@sayter there is one other idea I would like to bounce off on you.

Pick axes all deteriorate upon use over time.

Would it be possible to add this function to weapons too?

My thought is, given that it works, to have weapons break over time, the more you use them.

This would have the following effects:

    1. Players would choose to use weapons more carefully
    2. Gathering blueprints by buying, finding, replicating to reproduce the weapon
    3. use resources to rebuild the weapon
    4. If possible repair the weapon with the use of resources.

I liked the concept of the pick axes, now with the mining laser being invulnerable they really lost their value but still.

Let me know what you think :)
