    There was a bug with terrain generation of Huge and Massive planets, but it appeared to have been fixed in a recent release. Chances are your planet was generated before the fix went out(I reset the universe on mine to avoid such things as that)

    Sayter: You implemented the new techs a while ago, but as far as I can tell there still aren't any quests that reward them. Was that something you forgot, or has it just been low-priority?

    There are quests for *most* of them. There are a few that are not yet given the quest treatment. Primarily because I want to do a different way, but have not yet thought of a way to achieve that without it being stupid or plain.

    I just installed the mod ( I played this mod before the 1.0 and IT'S GRATE !) but now when I installed the mod .. I can't find where to go to the science outpost ... I have all the new biomes and planets and new stations ... And 1 more thing .. When I make the cooling EPP .. It dosen't protect me from drowning ...

    @sayter ....is there any way we can put these two things in huge giant letters in the mod's description page or something? lol.

    That's like what, 1-2 times per page that these two questions get asked? lol.

    Hi , i just noticed that placing a switch betwen 1000u storage unit, and the ansible network do not function - (same happens with advanced centrifuge).

    Switches don't work with the FU machines.

    Another error, been a weird night. After reading thru the log, I'm getting steam errors for achievements? lol

    edit: Seems the error might be related to FUavali dungeon

    Is that new starting 1.0?

    I remember in Glad being able to attach a switch to a generator and it would only burn fuel while switched ON?

    But yeah, IMO, use a Solar Array for the Ansible Network and an Array+Panel for the Condenser and then batteries for everything else (2x 2000u, 1x 2500u and 2x4000u are all you need to power everything except the regulator).

    As far as I knew they hadn't worked, never tried. One array works wonders for 2 hydroponics too.

    Well, the generator does state outright that it has a slot for logics input... it's probably simply that the machines don't.

    In fact, lol.

    The batteries have two blues, don't they? I bet you're supposed to do it like this:

    switch -> (Blue) Battery (Red) -> ansible

    While the person above was trying to do

    battery -> switch -> ansible

    The switch basically tells the battery "don't send out power while I'm switched off" therefore the ansible is powered off.

    EDIT: CONFIRMED (*tags @lordbociek so that he knows how to do it*)

    Switches DO work.

    Note, the dark line going from the switch to a blue terminal on the battery; ansible is powered OFF.

    Now, when I go up and flick the switch, this happens. Note that the ansible network is now powered.

    CAVEAT: To get this to work, you MUST do it in THIS order:

    1). Place all 3 objects and fill the battery.
    2). Wire Switch to blue terminal on battery.
    3). TURN THE SWITCH ON! (VERY important!)
    4). Wire the Battery to the Machine.
    5). Turn the Switch Off.

    If you skip Step #3, IT WILL NOT WORK. I tried it several times, and that's the only way I could get it to work.


    EDIT: The only reason I can think of as to why it doesn't work, is if you don't change the switch... switches are OFF by default, batteries are ON by default. So you have a switch that is OFF and Battery is ON. If you flick the switch, the switch wants to switch ON, but it sends a pulse to the battery telling it to switch OFF, but the battery is going "no, wait a minute, I'm supposed to be ON because you're ON." or something like that and the game just gets confused.

    reported issues fixed. not sure what was up with the contaminated one, as that was fixed a while back and no longer happens.

    So i managed to finally gather enough resources to craft the quantum matter manipulator(yay) and is there any way you can make it take place of your normal matter manipulator or is it too hardcody?

    This is actually a good question for @sayter :

    I know that mods exist to extend the parameters of the in-game Manipulator, and I was wondering...

    Is it possible to make a Glad Giraffe-esque "tech card" that when used as an item, executes a script that increases the mining area and strength of vanilla's matter manipulator?

    For example, instead of making the morphite manipulator, you make a... I don't know... Morphite Manipulator Upgrade Module and you USE it as an item and it executes a LUA script that increases the Size/Distance/Strength of the regular ole yellow manipulator?

    Of course, this could probably used to bypass the regular vanilla upgrading system (if you had, say, 2x2 tiles and you used the MMUM you'd suddenly have 6x6, lol) but if possible, this sounds like this could be a far better way to do it?

    EDIT: is it maybe possible to mod the MM upgrade interface itself to do something similar? Maybe there could be a 4th upgrade slot but it only allows you to use a Morphite Module? etc? I don't know if any of that stuff can be modded or not.

    while in the mood of asing questions is the elder buff from th e war angel armor the same as the other elder buff? I read from som1 on the wiki that they arent the same.

    Do a little searching, please. I talked about this like 3 threads ago. Simply running a forum search in this thread about "elder buff war angel" would have pointed to my post about that very subject.

    (Also, in one of the updates, @sayter even mentions that he changed it and what the difference is).
