    oh god, i had no idea... that must have been a nightmare
    @Xylia i have no idea what i'm doing, metadata files are confusing me, but i know they're what's causing the problem the game isn't recognising the file as a metadata and as such isn't including FU

    new cockpit UI tweaks. Now you'll know most of the ores on every single planet, including FU ones! had to tweak the display a bit so you'll find the Threat level under the planet displayed

    the .metadata file cannot have a filename at all. literally ".metadata".

    But, gimme a bit of time and tomorrow I can put together an actual mod.

    EDIT: What you can do is copy the .metadata from FrackinUniverse (or any other mod for that matter), edit the file, erase everything and then paste the contents I wrote previously in.

    EDIT2: Previous to Starbound, I did not know that null filenames were actually possible, lol.

    @Xylia here's what happened when i loaded the game after figuring out .modinfo it was long and confusing... but now we have this beautiful error edit: upon reading it... it's still the metadata :facepalm:

    Whenever i try to teleport to the science outpost, ill be teleport back to the ship without any control. no crashes but i cant reach science outpost.
    making new character didnt solve problem. any help?
    im sorry i dont speak English well.

    1.0.3 just hit and I can say for sure that the lasher hooks appear to be broken now.

    Additionally, I can't use tech anymore and the computer to swap them out has enable greyed out/padlock symbols on the UI. I can still see them equipped in my inventory. Not sure if this is FU related, but I figured it was worth the mention here just in case. I don't have any tech related mods installed.

    I just tried a different character that I'd messed around with earlygame and she can still use all of her techs, so I'm tempted to say that this isn't an issue with Frackin' and 1.0.3. Still sucks.

    Allright looking into it....not sure why its doing that considering i havent changed it since the last update and it was fine then....





    and yes, the grappler is now broken due to changes CF made to grappler in the new patch

    CF also changed techs.

    I just figured it out, I'd luckily made a backup just prior to the update hitting and reverted to that. Tech worked fine.

    In terms of repro it appears that my techs become disabled after firing my Lasher for the first time. Yikes.

    Thanks for the fast turnaround, can confirm that lasher works properly again. The save that used it before the fix was issued is locked out of tech - is there anything you think that can be done? I've got a backup I can revert to, don't remember how long it's been but worst case scenario I'll just be down some Morphite. The up-to-date universe folder works fine with the backup player save.

    Hey, I've got a weird problem that I figure might be related to this mod, when I try to go to the science lab area with the mission interface it beams me down and then before I can even move it beams me back to the ship, I can beam to planets easily, and I'm pretty early game, but if anybody has advice on this I'd appreciate it.
