    Well what I was trying to say was to limit some of the spawning pools a bit. It seems like there are too many options in what can spawn at most stars. On top of that you need to guess which systems favour which worlds (at this point I tend to check most near by systems just to see what's around and then jump at what looks good instead of hunt for worlds). I understand that the RNG is a key part of the game, but it's always better if the player can understand what their chances are without looking under the hood so much.

    This is one issue that would really be best fixed in Starbound itself and not a mod. For example when you select a system it would list the world types, or at the very least the world types that might appear, without the need to look at each one. As you've said before there is a number of things that about the nav sysyem's UI that could be done better.

    Hey, I sent a message about this issue as well. I'm having some compatibility problems with this and the peglaci mod. I'm pretty sure it is caused by the frackin universe mods peglaci compatability causing a duplicate guard pistol item. Here is the log:

    The UI and such is definitely the primary problem to me. It's not a big deal, but if windows auto-sized it would make life a lot easier. Then text could determine the size instead of cramming it into a fixed area.

    Tonights github has a fix of sorts, for that. The Day/Size/Gravity are now under the Weather shit, leaving more room for planet descriptions. As a result, most descriptions now list the primary ores provided there. Now there's no excuse for anyone to not know where to find things, ever! yay!

    I'm loving these little adjustments and fine tuning. I'm not going to reinvent the hud just yet since I don't know what more they plan to do with it and I am loathe to redo the same work twice if I don't have to. This will do for now.

    - ice waste finally got its own ore table

    - cockpit setup adjusted. Size, Gravity and Daylight are now on the right with weather, leaving more room for description text!

    - cockpit descriptions adjusted. Several more now mention their native ores. This should mitigate confusion on where to find certain ores.

    -prisilite rates are much lower on all but chromatic biomes. This makes Chromatic the primary source for that ore , now.

    - added effects to the Siren and Missionary armor sets , to make their early acquisition worthwhile. Also adjusted the stats of both.

    -recon armor stats rebalanced

    - giant slime damage reduced on all attacks, and its HP is nerfed even more than last time

    - small slimes now do less touch damage, and half as much again once they split into tiny slimes

    - lunari pistol and rifle have gone up in tier by 1, increasing their damage and usefulness

    - power core and molten core require lesser metals to make (titaniumbar and tungsten replace advancealloy and cerulium

    -mining gun recipes made way simpler to encourage their use

    - mining guns got powered up a bit, doing more damage to blocks in general.

    - mining gun art adjusted to suit new recipes

    -penguins added to frozen moons and nitrogen seas

    -liquid protocite is a bit easier to manufacture, and no longer requires glass

    -solar arrays now use durasteel instead of dense alloy

    You could have the mod loading screen list the ore locations and you'd still get lots of people asking.

    :p i know hey whats the best place to get helium-3 as the only way i have any was from turning the 60 from the quest reward into a oreplant seed. also the death head gun/cannon is awsome.

    I've found that the frozen moon tends to be the best, as the Metal Moon also spawns Shadow Gas, which seems to interfere with helium generation. And as of a recent update, you can get Helium-3 from extracting Moondust, which can be found on most moon/airless biomes.

    Interfere? Is it an either-or gen? Or is it a mixed bag... you open a sealed cave, helium on the ceiling, shadow on the ground...

    Hey, sayter, another question (or bug report?) about the 3.12 update... I just can't find the chili-obsessed dude ---- ingus chili pepper in hand, yet no response received. I remenber that you mentioned this guy in 3.0, right? Well it seems that this dude is finally fed up with chili, for even having created a new character, when I got to the science outpost, I still found no one askeing for anything about pepper. Wondering whether it is a bug? Or did I miss something? :unsure:

    Hello, i need some help and dont know if this is the right place to post this thread, but here i go. Ive downloaded the FU mod and the issue im having is being able to visit the planets without taking damage. Is there armor to mitigate that or is there an implant. Ive read all forums and no luck.

    Most reliable way to get helium is via moondust, no doubt about it. It's abundant on every moon biome. Helium 3 "pools" are intentionally much rarer. Shadow Gas can be found in more places overall. The best chance for shadow gas is now *gasp* Shadow Moons underground.[DOUBLEPOST=1448155203][/DOUBLEPOST]
    Depends on the planet type. You'll need either special gear (armor suits) , a Field Generator backpack, or various types of plants to mitigate the effects. This is 100% intentional.

    You mentioned this before. I fixed the turn-in. The quest itself will not appear until you've completed Mattersville from the intro FU quests. The NPC seems to be spawning fine. If it still wants to be a douche, I'll simply try removing the prerequisite requirement

    "no such key for completion condition" means you are probably using Unstable or Nightly. Which the main page directly states that this mod does not work for.

    If this is not the case, attach an error log and I can take a look.

    Hey I actually have a request to make. Like you know those books you have for the biomes and frackin flora? Like say you are having trouble finding the salt from the mod and you found it once could you make a book that records it? I actually havent been able to find salt for my thermo generator to make fuel canisters >_< and the wiki doesn't have info and searched through the community website for anyone asking the same question.

    salt is plentiful. Water + Extractor. Done. The tutorial quests also cover this.
