This is why we wipe our universe and player before starting 1.0. Every error listed is old syntax no longer used in 1.0. Projectiles used to use "frames" not "image". normalDeathModeDrops has been removed from the game, etc. Those errors would not display if it wasn't getting them from somewhere.

its also trying to load cotton, and getting a duplicate. Guessing you are doing something wrong, since there should not be a duplicate if using the correct version. Those folders were removed (the nightly objects folders) and therefore should be unable to cause such an error on account of not existing anymore.

if you didnt already, DELETE the ENTIRE FOLDER for FU , and reinstall fresh to be sure.

Steam Workshop, as I recall, uses differential updates. I am unsure if this would apply to Starbound's .pak system, however.

 

What exactly is that anyway?

 

It's a way of saying that it will only download the things that have changed.

 

I love the randomoness that can happen in FU...

Did the Lush planet, got the 20 core frags, did the moon base and I landed on a forest... said forest had an Umbral Biome of some sort (living stone, umbral dirt, etc) that had LOTS of Cinnabar, a little Densinium (!!!) and large caches of Tungsten on the surface, with even some organic soup thrown in.

I was like "OH YES." (picture Mettaton's voice here)

Of course, I only scratched the surface because I have no protection against black slime yet, but I was able to score some 230 tungsten ore from the surface of the planet, lol.

Definitely gonna drop a flag here and come back later when I'm better equipped......

 

Is Honey biome on every planet or there's some where you won't see it, I'd hate to have to deal with bees everywhere xD

 

For some reason I kept getting the "always in FTL" bug when I started a new game with FU installed. I removed it, started a new game, and reinstalled once I got a character going. Now I don't have the flyer that gives access to the Science Outpost. Could someone tell me the item name so I can spawn it in?

 

Flyer's name is "sciencebrochure"

 

If you're trying to say, "Don't subscribe to the workshop because it won't download all the changes", that is definitely FALSE. When you subscribe, it gives you all the data the first time, then does the incremental changes after that.

It is safe.

 

I think what he was trying to say is that "The workshop only downloads the changes instead of re-downloading the entire thing each time it is updated".

It's not so much of it being "safe", is "I don't want to download 50MB every day" but it is nice to know that the worskhop does indeed only download the little bits that actually changed. That's nice for people on slow connections like me.

 

That was not what I was trying to say at all. I was endorsing the workshop for precisely that reason, namely that it does not redownload the data you already have

EDIT: Okay, I think the Sting debuff is a little too overpowered to be honest.

 

i'm using the forum version here because of reasons, i can't seen to find where to make to the booze kit, it used to be in the matter manipulator but it's not in there anymore, also the bees quest has sttoped after i built the appiary

 

Booze Kit should be in the Inventor's table now, iirc, but yeah, bees quests do end abruptly.

Yeah, it is a bit...especially on a starting planet, unless you're wearing armor and have a stack of Salves ready, you might actually die...xD

 

in the first or second version of the investor's table? cause i upgraded it one time already and it has not appeared yet
