    For housing, make sure you have walls, ceiling(solid), floor(solid), A door, some piece of furniture, and a light source. Platforms cannot be used as floor or ceiling, but may be used to create levels inside the housing.

    Actually, no date was given for 1.0 as of yet (nor do they intend to, since sticking with a timeline can cause more trouble than it's worth) , and chances are it will be well into June before we see it given the amount of work they have to go, test and get working flawlessly. Nightly is still largely unplayable...so they have a bit to do yet.

    As for converting: There isn't really a ton that needs to be done and I'm not at all concerned :)

    In any case, you won't see a nightly version of FU any time soon. When it's almost time, then I'll look into it.

    Just spent about 20 minutes looking through the 126 pages of discussion and I think I (likely) may have missed anything regarding it, but the upgrade station in the mod description says it upgrades weapons, shields, and armors. All I could figure with it was getting armor to upgrade, and I went back to look at the original mod page for it and the UI layout for it is different and seems to function solely for armor. Does it still have the function of upgrading things other than armor, and if so, how do I go about making it do that? Sorry if this is a dumb question, really tried to find an answer prior to typing out this long-as-mess post.

    The Upgrade station I think only does armor. It has yet to be changed to reflect that in the description there.

    (Case in point, one of the biomes on the front page mentions wolframite, which was changed to Zerchesium)

    It's been answered a few times in the posts actually, but no matter.

    in-game, you'll notice it is now called an Armor Upgrade station. The actual mod page has not been updated with that change yet. There is currently no in-game way to upgrade shields or weapons the way we used to be able to. So no, just armor for now.

    I opened an issue on the Github. It seems I am not able to unlock the Fission Furnace in the Matter Assembler. I have picked up the required quests and item that should learn me the Fission Furnace recipe but it's not for some reason. Can you please help me with this?

    There should be errors in the log if it's not doing what it's supposed to. Could you paste a log here so Sayter can doublecheck?

    Works perfectly fine. You didn't pick up the prerequisite: Extractor, or the roof-mounted extractor.

    Ah, ok. Sorry. That wasn't clear in the quests. There's no order to them like a chain, they're just all there and it was a bit confusing. May I suggest consolidating all the quests into a few quest chains.

    Once I made the Extraction Lab I learned the Fission Furnace recipe like you said. Thank you for the help and making a great mod.

    No, since it's impossible to chain the FU stuff that way. Too many interconnected bits means there is no way to reliably have things built in a particular order. Which is exactly the idea in the first place :)

    Instead, it follows a logical progression. If something is not currently unlocked, there are a myriad of other quests to do that will lead up to that item unlocking. Which, apparently, you didn't do :)

    Once the new stable (1.0) hits, we'll have a lot more control over quests. At that point I'll be looking into revamping the entire quest line from the ground up. Until then, there is no point in bothering. I'd only need to redo it again anyhow.

    pretty much this, yea. And even then, not being ready exactly on release isn't a big deal. I still typically update 3x as often as other modders :) It's been slow lately since I've accomplished much of what I have wanted, and have been starting a new job, etc of late.

    uh, no I didn't. You can't get the Science outpost without first visiting the normal outpost. It's not FU causing the issue there.
