    I saw in a update that it said something about quests. But i cant find any quest. am i doing something wrong?

    As it said in the update notes, the quests appear after you create the Distress Beacon.


    "- changed quests. They now begin after you finish construction of the Distress Beacon. This should hopefully resolve any conflicts with race mods."

    What exactly does Vextongue do? The overview says it protects you from damage however I consumed some before taking on a pirate ship and the plant did nothing to stop me getting shot into shreds...Vashta worked fine by blocking damage but Vextongue was virtually useless! Am I missing something or doing something wrong? Why, Vextongue, why!? :(

    Some of the buffs might not function yet, perhaps. Im using a valid one. Vashta gives Forcefield, while Vex gives Protection. I'll try upping its potency and see how that does. It will be in the next update.

    I've done this but I have yet to see any quests, is it possible industrialization could be messing with the quests cause I use that mod as well?

    Yes, it is possible. I used the final quests since it doesn't use that one in industrialization...but that doesn't mean it won't mess things up. That or I dun went and broke it. I had it working fine on my end though. If anyone else reports the error, I'll check it out and poke around some more.

    I happened to notice this in the industrialization tutorial folder for the quests.

    Possible, though not likely. That essentially means "Industrialization quests start at THIS point"

    mine start at 5. I designed it this way intentionally so that they didn't conflict with one another. Go figure. I'll check on a new character right quick


    Though maybe you could confirm if you are poking around there. Do they have their own custom tutorial5 file? If so, there is your culprit right there.

    Well, upside is it doesn't make the mod unplayable. Downside is it will be ignored if it's preempted by industrializations' version.

    I think I can doctor up a fix by simply moving it to before the industrialization questline starts, and ends right before it.

    Industrialization starts a 2 so there is no conflict but again I don't see the quests for this mod showing up.

    Odd. Work fine for me. Maybe try deleting and reinstalling it. Should show up after you make the distress beacon.

    Some feedback on the Hellfire Blade - what with it taking more effort to craft than any other item I've made, whether vanilla or mod, it was a bit disappointing to find that it's more of a threat to myself than to enemies. ;) I remember you said in the update notes to be careful when using it indoors; I would go further, and say that using it in any close quarter situation is a kamikaze tactic, heh. Also, as regardless of armor, the player is much more vulnerable to lava than Tier 10 enemies, due to their far higher hitpoints, the damage/inflicted burning effect don't provide a worthwhile trade-off IMHO when weighed against the danger involved in wielding the blade. Not a big deal if you want to keep it this way though, as I crafted it out of curiosity rather than "need" - I prefer guns (with the Ammo Overhaul mod) to melee anyway. :)

    Yea, it's seriously dangerous lol. It was the intent, though I'm not entirely pleased with it just yet. I'll be changing it up once I can get a chance to get around to it. Other priorities with the mod, currently :)

    Yeah I haven't got the quest at all, I think it's because industrialization continues it's quest line once you beat the first boss and obtain the molten core cause I would have thought this mods quest would start right after you craft the distress beacon but I didn't see it pop up or prompt. I know it's also industrialization because it's the only mod I currently have that alters quests majorly.

    Ah, I have never gotten far enough along in the industrialization questline to know that. Well, in that case I will have to figure something out to work around that.

    No, it isn't his problem to sort out :) Don't worry. I'll think of something . If only there was a way to make picking up the Extractor for the first time auto-add the quest. Though with Dynamic quests being added soon this should only be a problem for a short while.

    Awesome on the update, I'll give it a test after I get some sleep :p test it out in the morning to see if the quests work ;)
