depends what parts of the mod you use. Could be that whatever parts this guy is using are not the updated bits. I don't use CLeF or anythign else for that matter at the moment so I can't speak for Chow though. But I know there are several "pieces" to CLeF

 

I've downloaded this for the most recent stable patch, and I've come across a bug, my starter planet is littered with carrots. They're planted and sometimes not even on valid space(rock, wood, ect) litterally half the planet was covered in carrot plants.

Field of Carrot subbiome. Looks like it requires to be a bit tweaked down. ^^

 

A bunny's dream. I've seen that sometimes, half a planet covered with plants (grapes in my case). And because of the new rules with watering crops, and none of them being on tilled soil, none of them can ever grow. It's sad

 

Shit. They can't grow anymore? You'd think they'd have made wild crops exempt from those rules. I'll have to see how they work now. I'm willing to bet they start on a later stage, and I simply have them on stage 2 instead of stage 3 or something.

but yea, I keep meaning to tone down the FieldOf biomes. Adding to the list. I'll do that today

I do find it comical that people call it a bug though. "OH NO TONS OF PLANTS FOR FREE!!! MUST BE A BUG" nope. But only for vanilla plants.

Find the same thing for FU plants and it's like Santa personally came to your party and gave you the best gift ever. No one reports THOSE as bugs. lol.

EDIT: Can't even launch Starbound now. Clicking launch buttons does nothing. Clicking it in the file folders goes "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file." Fix your shit, chucklefish...

 

its not a crash bug. all it means is its not currently displayin the correct horizon on a particular biome. i need to add a few more entries, as I thoguht I only had to do "actual" biomes and not ALL of them (ie: super dense and unknown count, even though they dont have .biome files)

it doesnt affect play in any way, shape or form.


oh, thoguh I did just realize: it could be from SideStories, since it adds biomes too and isnt fully up to date yet

 

Would this be the cause of not being able to launch? Launcher isn't responding, it can't close, task manager can't shut it down.

EDIT: Oh lovely. they pushed another update. Update 4 instead of update 3 now...

 

no, as i just said the 0 thing is not a crash or game affecting bug of any sort. you simply wont see a particular planet horizon image in space.

 

Huh. Then something else glitched or locked up, because I can't launch the game at all (if it says I'm currently playing, I'm not). Launcher won't close, task manager fails to close it.[DOUBLEPOST=1441220343][/DOUBLEPOST]Redownloaded the launcher. That seemed to work.

Yea, the Grape plants I've seen are all on stage 2 (almost ripe Grapes)

 

Yea, thought I had them set to 2. That was intentional , so that you had to "stay" on a planet for a bit to harvest them. Guess that is no longer an option though

 

I didn't really check the thread, but are Atropus planets supposed to be so ubiquitously cultisty? I've found that every Atropus planet I've encountered has had its entire primary biome swarming with cultists and altars.

 

nope. Thanks, thats due to a particular distro option i forgot on a few biomes. Thanks!

 

Found a couple "devices" from the cultist shrine things, put them on my ship, and now they cannot be picked back up.

edit: added steam links, the first one i got to pop off when I broke the platform under it, the others is on the ship floor so I cannot try that. Item is labeled as Mysterious Machine in the first picture.
