Is the NPC in this picture from this mod (click picture to enlarge)?

I'm not sure which mods (and vanilla stuff, of course, heh) are adding NPCs and which aren't...however, if it IS one that's from this mod, then...it causes my client to crash to desktop w/o any sort of error messages.

There was nothing in my starbound log, either...so...that's really all the info that can be given. =x

 

randomly warped back to the ship on one of those elder planets. I think it might be the healing rain that caused the warp back. but there is a lot more little errors with the heckblobs.

 

That's Starbound Side Stories, most of the crashes with npcs lately has to do with Starbound Side Stories, I studied the causes very closely, I'm sure the author will fix these bugs eventually, it only happens with Merchant npcs.

 

Ah, that's a shame...is it ONLY the merchant NPCs you find in the microdungeons...or all NPCs? Also...is that one of those mods you can get rid of w/o having to reset your world and/or universe (until it gets fixed, anyway, heh)?

Edit: Also, thanks for the response. I just ran into it again with a Novakid in an outpost-like microdungeon, heh.

 

yea, heckblob and slime are kinda messed up at the moment. i need to update their scripts. they wont cause crashes though

the other issue is molecave dungeon. i guess that one got removed too. ill eraase it from the offending biomes terrestrial data. thanks

- moved mutavisk bandages to the chemlab

- the extraction lab now extracts half as quickly as before. the quantum extractor retains its previous speed

- added two new extractors, ceiling mounted variants of the normal ones

- greenruins6 was throwing errors so i removed it from the dungeon template

- removed molecave from atropus biomes, as it too seems to have been removed from vanilla

- new furniture: bookcase, table, chair, cabinet, computer, door, electron microscope, autoclave

 

Any chance you'd update and add Modular crafting stations to FU? Possibly after learning a miniaturization science.
The last person has stopped working on it.

Hello sayter! When I go to a planet that belongs to FU , the travel just never ends. It's not a bug or crash, the ship just never reaches the destination. Can you help me to fix this? (Sorry for my bash and crap english, hehe)

 

That would be a bug. And with bugs you need to give me an error log. I can't (and won't) help you until I get that.

 

They used to be produced by putting glowfibres in the extraction lab.
However.
In the files there are still the 4 coloured fibres, which were replaced by the game patch to be one, none-coloured fibre.
Long story short: Mr. Sayter did not yet chang the extraction script to work with the new "glow fibre"-item.

 

uh what? I did go through and remove the extra glow fibre stuff. It might still be in the extractor though. In which case I'll do that now. Thx

edit: yea, forgot the extractors. Thanks again. That would explain his problem getting the damned things lol!

Hi, just looking for a spot of advice: does anyone know how the addition of "tissue samples" and "genetic material" to the hunting loot tables affects the drop rate of leather? Does leather still drop from hunted monsters in FU? Is it at a reduced rate? Is there an alternative way of getting it?

technically the rate is unchanged, but there are now 2 addition items with a chance to drop. ill add leather to the FU drop rate to even the odds.
