    It is extracted exactly the way you said and how do I post an error log? My game didn't crash it just teleported me right back to my ship instead to the mission....

    All your worlds show up on worldscreen, but when I teleport to the Science Outpost I see it for a second before being teleported right back out of it onto my ship...

    And if I fly to one of your new planets it just keeps flying FTL constantly and when I go back to access my starmap it only shows black space. I however COULD read the guide books that came with this mods...

    only other mods I'm using is Frilly & Pink and Spawnable Item Pack

    Directions on how to get an error log are ALSO on the very top of the mod page, dude.

    The FTL travel thing is "new" in that there are some changes that I need to account for in terms of game resources being removed from vanilla but still being referenced in FU. Hence why I need the error logs: To see what I missed and correct the problem. Rest assured, FTL loops are a primary concern and are the top priority to fix of all the problems that currently exist.

    Consult the main page of the mod, at the very top, and do what it says there. Without the logs I can NOT help you.

    I am sorry this is the very first time I'm using your mod and the very first time to be in forum, no need to dude me, I didn't mean to offend you.

    anyway, I hope you mean this file (because I got 5 different Starbound.log) files

    the one WITHOUT the numbers is the best option. It is the most recent. The rest are backups from the last few times you ran the game. So long as the problem is the same , it should be fine though.


    And I know you didn't mean to offend. But people seem to be allergic to reading. I'd not be annoyed if it wasn't the very first thing posted on the mods page. Do people jsut go, click download, and not read anything else?



    and, thanks for the error log. It actually points out a few useful issues.

    #1 being that the "toucritter" is from new stable but file and I i guess are different so theres a conflict there. That is probably why you are being screwed over at the outpost. I added critters in, and its trying to load them but can't find that particular critter. So it kicks you back to your ship.

    There are a few other things to adjust there, too. Namely, a terrain generator I removed erroneously that is still being called.


    I'll address them as fast as I can. The critter issue will have to wait, since I don't have access to the critter list at the office.





    If anyone can paste the script files for the vanilla critters so that i can fix their biome labels, that would speed it up!

    The one I posted is the one detailing the crashes I looked at it. And yeah most people scroll instantly for the features particulary if the post is long. I read the installation notes. But I didn't read the sentences above the picture really cause I thought it was just part of the title.

    I can understand that being annoying sry for being difficult

    btw. thanks for your help I tried it again using the github version. Science Outpost is still not accessible to me however I at least was able to fly to one of the new planet types without getting stuck in FTL travel, dunno if that was purely out of luck, and whether or not it will get stuck the next time again, but at least that is something

    NNo worries man. It's pretty normal these days for people to not read everything :) I just always, alllllways read shit like that so that I don't get screwed over.



    Anyhow, a fix is coming for your issues in a moment. It won't be a modpack , so you'll need to extract the folder instead.

    Hey, I have thousands of people using the mod and they should be able to play without issue.

    Most of the fixes are easy, and therefore can be done on the spot. And the office is (fortuantely) slow lately. So I may as well!

    I was thinking of doing that too... At least with my universe... Do you think it would matter if the character was made before the update if I've only made the character, and never actually even loaded him up in game? Or should I just remake the character anyway? I wonder

    if its never really been used it wont be an issue. Typically the character wont be an issue at all, so long as it isnt using techs that are now removed from a mod, or items that are removed. So using existing characters will be fine regardless.

    I also get the bug with the Science Outpost. When i try to beam there i arrive for ca. 2 secs and then i'm suddenly back on the Ship. Log is attached. I use the actual GitHub version

    Then that would be your problem. The github is behind the official update now. Use the official.

    No, you didn't misread. The main page DOES say that the Github is the most up to date build . That simply isnt the case today since I cannot update github from the office, but I can update here on the site :)

    Found a little bug in the wellhouse micro-dungeon: The object "woddenlocker" doesn't exist anymore. I'd replace it with "woodencrate1"

    yea, there are a few new objects kicking around.

    however, im simply going to replace the missing objects ....with the missing objects :) Have to do it for the "wreckconsole" and other stuff too
