    Neuropod is not useful? um....

25% jump boost, 25% run boost, 25% rage, and 50% energy regen all at once isn't useful?

Kittens are soft.[DOUBLEPOST=1434817643][/DOUBLEPOST]I just pushed some more changes on github. Several fixes, and outpost updates.

Site one and i have the quest for him but no way to find him.

I do have the starbound crew mod dont know if that might cause it to not to be added to the mission list

I think there is a bug with sugar. I went to 20+ forest planets, zero sugar cane. I removed the mod, went to unexplored space, found abundant sugar cane on first forest planet I entered. So then I came here and downloaded the latest version since I was one or two versions behind, did a backup and delete my universe folder, create new character, again can't find any sugar on any forest planet. Took the mod back off and went again to unexplored space, immediately found sugarcane on first forest planet I entered.

Is Sugar somewhere else altogether with this mod installed or is this a bug? I don't care that much about cooking but one of the early quests requires you to make a cake which you need sugar for and can't be completed without cheating or removing the mod.

No. It's dumb luck, basically. I haven't touched default world harvest plants in any way, shape or form. The only thing touched on them is sub-biome selection, which doesn't directly affect plants spawning anyway.

It's not a bug at all. Just the way the generators work, sometimes.

In FU there are entire sub-biomes filled with heaps of sugar, by the way. The sugar field one, specifically.

So yea, FU is not responsible for sugar.

Got this with the latest Github files:

    Code:
[22:23:43.016] Error: Exception raised during Root finishLoad: (ItemException) Duplicate item name 'graphene' found
[22:23:44.340] Error: Fatal Exception Caught: (StarException) An error occurred during loading: (ItemException) Duplicate item name 'graphene' found
Avali mod again, maybe?[DOUBLEPOST=1434853864][/DOUBLEPOST]Yep, Starbound no longer crashes with the Avali mod removed.

Haha, dumb luck indeed. I reinstalled mod and first new planet I go to there is sugar next to me lol.

Anyone else experiencing this funny business? It started with the last FU update on the Chucklefish forums, but it has persisted through several of the latest Github iterations. Of course, I'm using a ton of other mods, so...

ill take a peek in my local files. it WAS the same the last time i checked. But its entirely possible the last change I made , something got borked. but all the stations are where they should be...so I am not entirely certain what is up there. Upside : You can still talk to them. They just....yknow...float :)

edit: just checked and nope, my guys are fine and walking around like normal.

I would like to add that naming your Apex Harry McAque is possibly the greatest achievement made by mankind.

    LIVE on Github

As you can see by this (unfinished) list, the next update (1.5!) is @#$@ing enormous. Read over the changes thus far if you intend to use the github build. Or you WILL be totally lost.

    - erithian pack made subtantially easier to craft (seriously...sorry about that one)

-new/ updated UI to be a bit more unique to the mod. The first batch of stations is done.

    - elder fluid now causes insanity

    - added 16 new plants from ISE. Renamed, repurposed, and with their own produce rather than spitting out ores.

    - added new plant: Writhing Vine

    - several new electronic/computer related components have been added, and are worked into the stations and numerous other recipes. As a result, you’ll now need more silicon. Which leads us to the next point...

    - silicon is now easier to get. Sand will now extract into silicon, rather than oil. This goes for both cascading sand and solid sand. Awww yisssssss!

    - adjusted the “rarity” property of most crafting resources to be more in-line with their actual tier/level of use. You’ll notice many changes in terms of your item border colors as a result.

    - to go with the above, most resources that are “uncommon” or higher have colored names to set them apart visually. It’s rather helpful, actually.

    - added several loot-only items that are useful for temporary (and in some cases very long-term) buffs:

    Ultra Stim

    Grav Stim

    Crunchy Chick

    Disposable Lightsource

    Portal Juice

    - added diamond shield

    - apex pod added to matter assembler crafting.

    - altered tier and damage of hardened steel blade and carbon blade

    - added upgrades to the Carbon Blade in the NanoFabricator. You’ll need to find the main materials that each uses in order to unlock them.

    - I heartily recommend Armed Mosquito’s “Questlog” mod. It makes the quest log window much less cramped, leading to a more readable format for everyone. If you opt to use it, enjoy. If not, that’s cool too.

    - added numerous new resources:

    Strength Gene 3,

    Resistance Gene 3,

    Defense Gene 3,

Quietus Ore (extract from crystal bloodstone)

Blood Diamond (fission furnace w/ quietus ore)

    Quietus Bar (fission furnace)

    Quietus Plate (power press)

    Steel Plate

    Eridian Plate

    Titanium Plate

    Iron Plate

    Copper Plate

    AI Chip

    Densinium Plating

    Microchip

    - added new station: Power Press. If it can be stamped or mushed into a plate-like form then this is the station you want. The following materials are produced by it at present:

Advanced Alloy (Moved from Matter Assembler)

Carbon Plate (Moved from Matter Assembler)

    Copper Plate

Dense Alloy (Moved from Matter Assembler)

    Densinium Plating

Diamond Plating (Moved from Matter Assembler)

Penumbra Plating (Moved from Matter Assembler)

Proto Plating (Moved from Matter Assembler)

Advanced Plastic (Moved from Matter Assembler)

    Graphene (moved from Chemlab)

    Iron Plate

    Diamond (requires 100 coal)

    - new look for protocite bars and advanced plastic

    - liquid slime now harvests as Slime rather than oil/tar.

    - luminescent paste removed from Chemlab. Instead, you can get it by extracting from glow fibres (which are pretty abundant anyhow). 20 will extract to 4 paste.

    - Moved Graphene Armor unlocks to Graphene. Not sure why they were on Carbon Plate.

    - simplified Molten Core recipe

    - added Crystal Swamp sub-biome

    - added Poo Pit underground biome

    - added Crystal Realm underground biome

-added blood diamond and blood ore. How to make it? Well...that’s for you to discover on your own.

    - fixed erroneous recipe for armored snowpants. Plastic cost reduced to 6. No idea how that ended up at 20. Sorry about that.

-re-added zen, shadow realm, heck, hive, shroomcave, crystalcave, abandoned mines, hive and colorful underground biomes from vanilla. They have the original ore tables, so you won’t necessarily find native biome ores within them. This is intentional.

    - reduced CT-4 miner cannon projectiles to 2. I kept getting weird crashes with 3, plus it was far too laggy. Fire rate matched with the KX-1, as well.

    - added new Matter Manipulator. It is unlocked with the new Quietus resource. It does not take up the MM slot, however, and acts as a new piece of loot. Created in the NanoFabricator.

-reorganized most of the items in the matter assembler to be under the proper tabs

    - jiggled around some quest related stuff to work in the new process with lab creation a bit. Thankfully, most of the early Matter Assembler quests were already wire/circuit related so it was straightforward.

    - corrected many missing colored words in the quests (thanks Glu!)

-added the new stations (nanofab, powerpress, fission furnace) to the outpost. removed sampling array.

    - added new basement lab in the science outpost

    - fixed extra pixel on the xenolab graphic

    - diamond shield no longer appears wooden and gold

The actual progression for stations is now as follows: Matter Assembler, Extractor, Power Press/Biochem, Xeno lab, Design lab, Nano-Fabricator. Remember, the Sampling Array is no longer in use nor is the Cloning Lab. Bloat is down, organisation is up. Huzzah!

    Hi,

I've a little question about your great mod: is this mod server compatible ? i have a server running to play with some friends and i'm thinking about to install your mod on this server. i don't want a gamecrash after hours of playing..

I WOULD however, purposefully spawn the hybridminer5 and abuse it for a bit to see what happens on the server. I've had to tone it down 3 times thus far because it was TOO good at breaking tiles and caused a stack trace issue.

yea , should no longer read "first batch" since all are now patched on the github, but no big deal :)

I've been putting it off for a long, long time. But I do intend to change it drastically in the near future. I don't much like the category buttons being tiny and on the bottom. Something more akin to the Pixel Goods Store would be preferable.[DOUBLEPOST=1435065689][/DOUBLEPOST]Those of you into decorations, two new deco items:

    strangedevice1
    tentaclestatue

They aren't being used anywhere yet, but if you want to /admin spawn them, have fun.

I hate to beat a dead horse, but I'm still extremely skeptical of the advanced plastic being at the power press, because if nobody else will complain about it, by god I will!

I look at the recipes at the power press, and I see an obvious theme: metal bars and plates. Such a tight theme is an asset for the press; you need to make a metal plate, go to the power press. It simplifies the brainspace, clears room at other workstations, all is well. But then, out of nowhere, graphene and plastic (and diamond, I suppose, but you still make diamond by squeezing, so I think that's okay). Making metallic plates is a mechanical process, but plastic and graphene are chemical ones. They just have no business being made at a power press. Furthermore, both of them are very important materials used for basic recipes.

If you want to help the gameplay, I say move both of them to the Matter Assembler. If you want to serve the flavor of the game, move them both to the biochem lab. But by having them at the power press, you're serving neither purpose, and are arguably hurting the Power Press by diluting it's theme (i.e. metal plates.)
