    Working as intended, then. Good. :) The rain would be less if I could leave less than "1" liquid with the blobs. But alas. edit: well, shit...looks like i CAN put less than 1.0. In that case, changing the rains immediately!

    i noticed. grav always comes down as the liquid itself.

    what i might need to add. this was one storm cycle: first gravel hail then ooze globs then grav- the layered one i manipulated a little its however still the same amount of liquid

    Yes yes, I know. You don't need to add 30 layers to every comment , dude :)

    Anyhow, weather has been adjusted for next release. Much more natural now.

    Additionally, next release will have a ton of additional liquid interactions in play. You'll get less liquid layers as a result. And more surprises.

    this wasnt aimed at you but rather the onlooker who has no idea what is going on, im aware that the creator knows the kinks of his creation

    - rain effects drop substantially less liquid on your head. Lava blobs remain the “largest” amounts of liquid released and even those are at half or less than their original values. All other rains should be vastly more playable now.


    - Slime Storms now rain actual slime liquid instead of Bio Ooze.

    - added blister shield. unlocks via blister extract

    - finally fixed fugradualslopes terrain generator. jaggies begone!

    - wubstem seed description corrected

    - corrupted armor blueprints added as chest loot for shadow, atropus and elder chests. They are a recolor and stat-swap on the new armored cultist armor recently added in Nightly.

    - fixed up liquid interactions. You should see several more interesting reactions properly now.

    - added elder chair, bookcase, bed, table, pedestal, door and cabinet . You can find the blueprints in Elder chests

    - ita flowers now cure darkwater and mercury poisoning

    - mercury poisoning now has it’s own effect.

    - finished removing all references to Sampling Arrays from quests and codexes

    - improved appearance of elder chests

    -shadow gas and helium more clearly indicate when you are under their effects now via status text message

    - reduced use of Giant Ledges terrain generator. It now only appears on a select few worlds primarily from the high-tier end of the scale.

    - elder fluid now properly harvests

    - rain clouds should...y’know...actually be rainclouds and not red sand.

    - rain clouds added to atmospheric cloud sub-biome

    - fungus biome plant distribution changed

    - new helm :Brain Slug. Ability: alters jump and physics, increasing agility a fair amount.

    - new weapon: Parasitic Ejector.

    - hellhive now uses different tiles

    - added new biome (which is same as old hellhive) : Hive

    - mud is now less sticky

    - Elder Dungeons are now fully functional! nothing TOO crazy there yet, as i need to work out wiring dungeons still before i can really make them interesting.

    - added more new unrevealed loot

    - Corruption Seeds (rather than Flesh Strands) now unlock the Exo Suit

    - bone armor now unlocks only via blueprints, but no longer requires Corruption Seeds.. It’s stats are increased as well, and it appears more commonly in loot drops.

    - bone armor now properly states what it does for the wearer

    - FU loot tables adjusted and broadened. Less “special” drops, but more item variation.

    Figure it out on your own. I'm done holding people's hands. I'll leave it at : "its one of the basic recipes in the matter assembler that unlocks it".

    If you haven't unlocked it, try building more things.

    i went through and built one of everything, if i needed it or not, and while its been a bit of a journey, i think i have it all unlocked now.

    Also... I have FINALLY found densinium after ripping apart 23 planets lol

    Yea, I have some in my stash...but even I don't have very much. I may have to increase the rate of spawning for it some more. Yea, in fact...I'm going to do that right now. Perhaps 25% or so increase will do the trick.

    that would make it more common than some high tier vanilla materials wouldnt it? i would think a small add of .5% change to find it would be enough

    why did i even ask? sigh, well back to farming tons of materials then.

    I assume that the elder themed armors can be found as schematics in the elder biomes right? , as the dungeons arent fully functional yet.

    Why are the mutagen recepies available to craft by hand? when trying to create rather complicated chemicals, i think it would be wise to use proper equipment. and its not like the helium or algaes that you can just "Bottle" to make them usable, or that you would even need them on the fly, neither do you need that with eridian chunks,you need the fisson furnace to smelt them anyway.

    You don't need to farm tons of materials to build the basic stuff. That all unlocks with iron or other common things. Coil, basic Circuit Board, etc are all rather simple to create. You probably just missed one of the basic materials and not the fancy ones. Electromagnets open up a lot of new things once you create it and it's prerequisite material.


    Elder armor can be found as loot, yes. Or unlocked in a few cases. But most will be unlocked via blueprint initially. There are a few new items I didn't advertise that will now appear as well.

    As for the mutagen...it's craftable because it's a man-made chemical mix and not one that occurs in nature. That's as deep into the design decision as I care to go. I don't think I should have to justify every single recipe :)

    Hmm. If I may offer a suggestion, perhaps Frackin' Universe needs a help thread in addition to this one? One where people can ask for help so that helpful souls like me can help them in a helpful manner?

    i dont think i was clear on that it makes total sense that you need to craft it, mutagens would not be able to just "be" in nature, im fine with that totally, what i find strange is that you dont need to be using a workstation to create it, and as you said its a man-made chemical, not something you just throw on a pile and they become something different, making a new chemical requires work and equipment.

    when i had chemestry in shool i had to use tons of different lab equipment to get it to work,and those were basic experiments like creating and acid or an alcohol, id figure you would need even more equipment to create something biological advanced as a mutagen. all im saying is, you need a lab to create samples but you dont need a lab when creating advanced genealtering substanses? you see what im saying?[DOUBLEPOST=1433717972][/DOUBLEPOST]
    i second that, especially scince dear developer here seems to be rather fed up with answering everybodys questions about were to find this and that and how to craft some specific things, i dont blame him though everybody would get annoyed by that after a while, i know i would.[DOUBLEPOST=1433718202][/DOUBLEPOST]
    true that but i like to be prepared so that i dont have to go out and collect more things after every unlock, thats why i already have a good supply of different alloys waiting to be used, eventhough i have no recipe to use them in,well none that would be of any use to me atleast

    I misunderstood, then. You went on WAY too long and completely lost me in your sentence structure. A simple "is this supposed to be craftable in the default C menu" would have been FAR more effective. (edit: And I just looked now and see what you mean. Looks like some recipes had "plain" left in there, which places them in default crafting territory as WELL as the biochem, which is where it should be appearing. I've fixed that for next release. Thanks!)


    You might be surprised by some of the gear, actually. I'd try making most things. Especially since some of the top-tier stuff ONLY unlocks after creating lesser versions of them. For example, you WANT to make the particle guns. You do, even if you don't think you do. You'd be a fool to pass over the Hyperion Particle Cannon. And the only way to get that is to craft the pistol, then the rifle, then the cannon, and finally the Hyperion. Similar principle to the mining guns. The basic one kinda sucks, but the upgrades make it significantly better until you reach the ultra , equivalent to Impervium level.
