Ok, ran some testing on a new install. Still getting the world crash on ocean planet palm trees. Looks like a plant drop is failing somehow.

Hello Sayter, I am a huge fan of your mod and so are my friends on my private server, but recently an issue has cropped up and I was wondering if you would be so kind as to help. I'll attach star log to the error, when someone spawns in they look around and five seconds later they crash. We've tried the 32X versus 64X issue fixer and it didn't work.

Actually, belay that note... Seems to be working once I've stripped out a few other things.... it may not be this mod after all. (I wasn't thinking it was, but it was the only one that advertised world changes.)

EDIT: Ok, found the culprit. It looks like it is the " Wild Things " mod. It is part of the Serious modpack. I'll contact them and see what the conflicting things are.

Hey there! Love the mod, although it annoys me sometimes that starter planets can have some seriously turbulent biomes which makes dying really easy. lol

Regardless, my friend has an issue that she ran across with the newest version of the mod. She has been to many different systems and has yet to find the new biomes and sub biomes. Her nav is even saying vanilla stuff and nothing with modded info, which I know has to be wrong since I have an older version of the mod and it tells me new information pertaining to the new biomes. Any help with this would be appreciated. Oh and quick note. It is installed properly since it's the modpack and she can find the new ore and has recipes from the mod.

I think the mod is installed incorrectly. All the paths there list as errors, yet all exist in the exact locations it states. I just checked to verify. So something is not in the right place...or something like that.[DOUBLEPOST=1433214659][/DOUBLEPOST]
she hasnt travelled far enough, then. If she scrolls on the starmap for about 5 seconds, and goes to a new area after "PROCESSING" dissapears, it will properly generate the new stuff. This issue is asked about again and again but right on the main mod page it tells you exactly how to deal with it. :)

The mod edits the starter Garden/lush world in no way that is directly harmful. The threat level remains unchanged by Frackin Flora. They have a few new sub-biomes, and none of those contain anything deadly. Forest and Desert worlds also have no really overly harmful edits, and their threat levels also remain unchanged in starting systems. Occasionally you'll get FU plants that are higher threat (but you never spawn on one at game start), and that's just part of the danger. Explore it later, when you can survive it!

Well, see, on one starter planet, I had Garden and Eyeball with poison water and poison blocks. Made it a bit harder to survive, but not impossible. I didn't mean to imply that it ruined the planet to where I was tossed in to lava or anything...although that did happen once where a Mostly Harmless was web with lava and Garden on one of the planets in the starter system. Was fairly interesting. lol

I don't feel that hellhive should be found on infernus worlds. It seems a bit out of place. That said, I've made some nice findings so far. The cloud biome made me want to move my whole base all the way up. :)

    I like this trapezohedron.

thats a nice 'hedron. I want that for my room.

And yea, some fine-tuning on sub-biomes is needed. I'll take another look at infernus. I think I intended to do a firey variant of the hive, but cannot recall.

The first time I've read about the hellhive subbiome I thought it was a hive-like red structure made by the lava bees of hell. Hivestone didn't cross my mind. :p

I wonder if anyone has reached the Elder Asteroids yet?

  16. Inny

    Inny Cosmic Narwhal

Not me, but I often forget to check high in the sky. So much to look at on and under the ground... but it is a nice idea. I'm glad you've found a way to add some variety to the asteroids. :)

... Oh nice, so Starbound also does have floating stuff, but i can't see it because i either have to fly, or find something that would bounce off the clouds/asteroids. There is none, tho - any particle in this game won't travel through the end of the screen as far as i've seen.

I'm sure there was something about working wings from soldier avians way back then, some sort of equip or tech, but nothing was found yet.

Anyway, are these BG ruins from FU, or the base game?

I don't recall ever seeing them.

  18. djDarkX

Vanilla. I've seen them only once, but they are cool looking. I think they are a rare occurrence on desert planets...but then again, I don't visit desert planets much. lol

Found them a bit repetitive, i mean, thanks to fullscreen and my resolution, i can see the ruins overlapping a lot. This should be a much wider image, with two different versions of the ruins, so it doesn't look like you're seeing a tiled wallpaper, but instead different areas in the background.

  20. djDarkX

    djDarkX Master Chief

Yeah, they are very tiled and it was weird to me, but maybe they'll fix that in a later release.
